Appearance

Anala is large for a female of her species, standing even a hair taller than the average male. Full-grown, she's around 35 inches tall at the shoulder and just under 56 inches long from tail tip to nose, weighing around 40kg. Some might describe her as bulky, but if push comes to shove, no one's shoving her around. As for her pelt, the soft and thick fur sports a messy downwards ombre of dark brown to cream with some faint white towards the lowest point. It appears that what would have been a beautiful gradient on her fur got shaken around some before it finished drying, leaving some areas more dark or light than others. Her chest and chin are the palest samples of her fur. Anala's amber stands out against the cream of her chest where it pokes out from its home under her skin. Although unseen, it is anchored to her bones. The visible part is the largest section of the stone, shaped loosely like an egg. Her gemstone isn't the only thing that stands out against her fur however, for Anala's eyes are a bright and piercing green. It isn't unlikely for the lighting to play a trick on the eyes of those who view her, making the glimmer seem like the very beginnings of a flame.

Personality

With a name meaning fire, it should come as no surprise that Anala is quite the character. Drawing her power from an amber gemstone, Anala lives life the way she wants to live it and relies on her own strength and skill more than the magic that the caves have offered her. That isn't to say she won't use it however, Anala recognizes it as an asset and when it comes to her survival she will use anything at her disposal to continue kicking around. Anala is a kind enough Gembound and willing to help others, but she does have some rough edges others should be careful of. Always up for a spar to test and increase her skills, Anala is sassy and enjoys riling others up from time to time. For the most part, she can tell when it's not the right time or place to do so but catch her in a bad mood and she's a little harder to manage. Anala is respectful of life and magic, saying a quiet goodbye and thanks to the creatures she hunts for food and not hitting a spar-mate when they're down. She's always curious about the world around her and how the different elements work so don't be surprised to see her eyes light up when she witnesses element magic being used near her. Anala is happier around others than on her own, but she can manage well enough without company for a short while. Although she prefers leading others as such a strong-willed Gembound, she can manage to be a follower if the situation is favourable in her eyes.
