Appearance

The Arbitrator is better described as a creature more than any animal. They are somewhat bovine in body shape, with an impressive set of red rhodolite horns connected through the skull. They curve back, out and then in front of themselves until they form sharp points, making them dangerous to fight head-on. They prove inadequate as a distraction, however, for their three piercing black eyes with red sclera and three torn-looking wing sets that nestle behind their horns and ears. At the joint of each wing is a sharp, curved claw.
It appears almost molten, their black hair streaked with moving markings, attributed to pigment cells in their hair, that resemble nothing short of lava. They are mostly orange and red, but closer to the shoulder they are a white-blue, concentrated at the base of their wings. This set, although only one and not six, is the most impressive of the lot. Some abnormal combination of bat and bird-like, they start as feathered limbs before stretching into leathery sheets, also tipped at the joint with the same curving, sharp claws of their other three sets. These claws are tipped with an irritant, a venom of sorts that sears and burns as it makes its way through veins. It is not dangerous in small doses, only causing extreme but temporary pain. Larger doses can cause disorientation, although this can likely be blamed on the blinding pain rather than some other chemical effect.
Their hooves are cloven, to main large toes with two smaller, sharp ones that splay behind for better balance. Their tail is long, ending in a single tuft at the end that covers, as one might have guessed, another venom-tipped claw made of bone.

The Arbitrator is by no means a small creature, barely fitting into tighter areas of the caves. They stand 8ft at the shoulder, closer to 9 at the head and around 6ft long without the tail. They are a hulking, muscular bundle of flesh who seems to exhale smoke and cinders, leaving a trail of char in their wake. They will be born, however, at only 3ft tall.

The Arbitrator, also introduced as Seraph, is an unpleasant being. They feel as though they are cleansing the caves with their antics, and are not afraid to kill if one does not repent. They will tempt you into the darkness only to have an excuse to save you from it, to see you writhe. It is not a good being, not a kind being, and certainly not a merciful one.
Or, so they could become. Who knows where interactions in the cave will lead them?
