Appearance

Cycle 1: Ares is a tiny little thing ( barely bigger than an adult human's full hand ) , barely able to walk on his stumpy legs. He's on the well-nurtured side ( he's a bit fat, let's face it ) but healthy, with a golden pelt shining as bright as any orbs of light in Origin ( when he keeps it clean ). The front of his pelt, his chest area going down his stomach && then up again to the end of his tail is white. Not a bog contrast to the rest of his pelt, but the difference is visible.
His small nose is as black as his eyes are, a rich && full ebony in both cases. Perky ears ( often deaf to warnings ) stand proudly atop Ares' head, while his tail at the other end of his body is curled && small, though not one bit less adorable.

The source of Ares' plant-based magic is a Pink Cobalto Calcite serving as a replacement of his right front paw.

Cycle 3+: Ares has grown into his body, standing at a proud 18in. It's a big improvement from where he started, considering he was a really tiny thing during his first cycle of life. He even grew out of the baby-fat, now a well-muscled gembound ready to prove his strength.

Personality

Ares is, as to be expected, a highly curious gembound. Whether it's because he's a dog or because he's young can't be said, but his curiousness is nearly insatiable - only the need for sleep can stop the young gembound's adventure && even then that only lasts for a short while.

True to his Shiba Inu nature, Ares may be a little reserved when faced by strangers, but his curiousness usually takes care of that rather fast. && Once befriended, Ares makes for a loyal friend, during his first cycles even bordering on dependent && clingy.

While Ares is a good-natured && definitely friendly individual, he's also a little proud. He can often be seen going out of his way just to keep his pelt clean or spending a lot of time with his hygiene. He's prone to reacting with childish bouts of sadness or pettiness to slights && insults.

Over all of that stands Ares' positive mindset, though. He's a clear optimist, always seeing the good side to things && acting as a beacon of hope && light to those who can't see the world as he can.
Later in his life, this side to his character will stand out even further, as he makes sure to be consciously positive && cheer others up in times of need.
