Appearance

As a cub Arete is your average sized tiger. With big paws too big for her body and a tail that's waaay to long for her as well she is as bland looking as any cub is. Not that she finds herself bland looking. The only difference between herself and normal tiger cubs are her stripes. She doesn't have any! Not one black marking on her little cub form. Maybe she's a lion?! No, if one looked close enough they would see the stripes just barely starting to show on the orange parts of her coat. If you look upon her white legs and underbelly you would easily see these faint golden strips that start to cover over her.

As she grows older these golden stripes will darken into the lovely deep orange they were meant to be painted. Easily contrasting against her golden and white pelt. Arete grows into a beautiful tigress. With an impressive eleven foot length plus a good three foot for her tail, she is one mighty beast. The biggest of her species and probably the most kind and gentle as they come. Upon her belly rested a beautiful citrine. Nestled just at the bottom of her ribs and above her belly. It is a small round shape at first, but as she grows, so too does the gem. It will no longer hold a perfect circular shape, but more with rugged edges and no longer in that circular shape.

Her eyes, much like her golden pelt, are a beautiful golden orange. They are soft and gentle, never burning with malice or any evil, malicious thoughts. If they indeed do carry a foreboding and dangerous tone to them, it's probably best to stay clear of this tigress.

Personality

Kind: She is almost nauseatingly kind. There isn't a creature, evil or ugly, stupid or briliant, or anything else that she is not fondly kind to. The only reason she would not show kindness to others is if she finds herself needing to defend herself against said other. Then you're probaby most likely going to get your ass handed to you/hopefully

Patient: Of all things that Arete is, it would be this. She has so much patience in herself that nothing ever grows annoying to her. A cub could chew on her tail all day, or a pup could tug on her ear if they saw fit and Arete would only just smile and allow the play. This too goes for the behavior of others. Though she can be patient, she will not tolerate blatant disrespect or ill manners. You will get a slap to the face.

Caretaker:It is her sworn purpose. Tending to those in need. Be it sheltering them from danger, keeping them warm on a particularly cold day/night. She tends to the lands around her also. Making sure all things are as they should be throughout all of Origin. All of Origin is viewed as her home to her, so it is only in her nature to feel responsible for it's upkeep.

Intelligent This speaks for herself. Being a caretaker one must know all there is to know. So during her youth Arete will spend a good portion of her time learning everything there is to know so as to be able to keep up with her tending of the Cave.
