Appearance

Aries was gifted with a mighty stance that radiates both power and grace. At maturity, he will grow to be a large ram. Standing at 41 inches tall and weighing roughly 316lbs, his robust form was built for collision and conflict. Large, handsome horns protrude from his thick skull. They weight at least 30lbs, which sounds like a burden to most, but Aries sports them proudly and effortlessly, thanks to the brawny muscles that bulge from his light brown coat. Whenever he head butts, it can be devastating, as it the force of impact can reach up to 35 kph. As a lamb or lanky adolescent, it would be hard to foresee the well-built ram he is destined to grow into.

His sure-footed, cloven hooves are capable of traversing even the toughest terrain Origin cave has to offer and his trusty legs never seem to falter. With every stride his takes, he holds his head high with confidence, as if he owns every cavern he walks into. As to reflect his heart and soul, the rams eyes burn passionately like the golden flames of a wildfire, and can betray his very feelings to an observant Gembound.

Aries' stone is a curved, slab of bloodstone. The speckled red, green crystal is infused with his skull and takes up most of his nasal bone. The top of it can be seen on the bridge of his nose, sticking out like a plate of armor. However, the position of his own stone could prove to be his Achilles heel, as his habit of butting heads puts the gem at risk of cracking. Aries actually did end up cracking it during a fight with Kholoros, but it as since fused together. A red streak is all that reminds of the injury.

**Since his accident during Kholros' fight in the tunnels, Aries now walks a limp from a broken front leg that never healed right.

Personality

The ram's heart is a powerful furnace of passion that burns brightly with unwavering willpower, propelling him to shoot for the stars. As long as he keeps it kindled, Aries will retain his optimistic out look, energetic spirit, and thirst for adventure. He is a very prideful creature, so much so that his pride alone could dictate the very decisions he makes. Often self-centered and wrapped up in his own desires, he can be oblivious to the feelings of others. Fiercely independent, he is stubborn to a fault, sometimes doing the exact opposite of what someone says just because the Gembound in question happened to hurt his massive ego. Underneath all those layers of pride and egoism, however, shines a heart of gold, a little lamb that dreams of being a hero, not for the glory, but because it's the right thing to do.

Aries is not a thinker, he is a doer. Rushing in head first is his forte. Despite his unhealthy habit of being impulsive and short-tempered, Aries is more than determined while on his escapades, he can be down right ballsy. If someone has to do something about anything, that someone might as well be him. Some might view him as the embodiment of "go hard, or go home" as there seems to be no inbetween with him. This means he can be brutally hard on himself should he fail at anything and love very, very deeply.

As passionate and determined as Aries can get, he can easily become impatient and bored with things that carry on to long. His blatant problems with commitment stares him in the face like a glaring dragon. It is main cause of his grief, yet he does nothing about it, or is simply unaware.

He longs to be the defender of the weak, to lend his strength to others who has none. Out of all the goals Aries has set for himself, it is this one that resonates the brightest in his heart. Extremely loyal to those who had managed to become his closest friends, he would, with out of a second thought, give up his life to save them.
