Appearance

Let's start with that pesky gem; it has taken up almost the entirety of hir left inner ear. It has caused massive imbalance, which has lead to hir being a chronic klutz. If you guessed shi may also have a head tilt, that is a definite yup. Asgina always walks with hir head leaning to the left, more dramatically so depending on the state of hir mind and the personality that is most active. You can barely see the gem itself, however, as it does not extend past the opening of hir ear. One would have to actually look into hir ear, past the fluff, to see it.

Right from the chrysalis, Asgina has the standard dirty-looking coat that comes with fading spots and fur trying to form it's mature pattern. Hir paws are huge and tail excessively long, indicating shi has some growing to do. Hir eyes are a grey-blue color, which will change into a vibrant orange with age.

As an adult, Asgina will reach a muscly weight of 198 lbs and stand at about 3 ft. Hir coat is a little darker than the average cougar. The greyish-tan is almost brown, although hir belly still relatively pale. The darker markings are black, standing out very plainly against hir much lighter body. A variety of scars may be seen under all hir fur, as shi is very clumsy and often gets hurt by it in the process.

Personality

As all youthful beings are, Asgina is curious and eager to see the world around hir. Shi is very much an introvert iced with shyness. Shi is mute in crowds, as hir paranoia does not allow it. As shi ages, little changes in these things, but hir curiosity does begin to taper as hir delusion begins to form. As hir delusion starts to become the basis for hir existence, shi becomes noticeably disassociative. Whereas shi once spoke in third person often, shi now, instead, exhibits it primarily in having a split personality.

Despite hir illness and severe mental instability, people who get close to Asgina will find that shi has passions and personality, just as everyone does. It is quite difficult to get to see these parts of hir, but it is primarily in how one handles an individual with such severe brain disorders. The key is remembering that schizophrenic individuals often use traits of their lives in their delusions.

Asgina has two primary personalities that will develop. One is hir more femme side, which is the primary personality that shi first had at birth. Shi is a more curious person, but scares easily. New things (that aren't other gembounds) attract hir like a small child. If shi can, shi will investigate it paws-on, testing the texture, taste, smell, and details of it. Shi is a little more friendly and a little more open. Hir delusion is focused mostly on the golems of Polaris. Asgina's other personality is more masculine. Shi doesn't speak much. When he does, it's often in broken sentences, like pieces of thoughts put together in odd places. Shi becomes a little clumsier, head tilting heavier to the left than normal. Asgina is more aggressive in this personality, as well. The delusion the masculine personality focuses on is the "outside world."

Overall, Asgina is relatively reclusive, clumsy, and shy. Shi is skittish of other gembounds, being unable to understand them very well... not to mention what hir paranoia often does to hir mind in the presence of others shi doesn't know or is uncomfortable with.
