A little over five feet tall, Aurelle is a far cry from most other gembound despite her very average height. She has a willowy, fragile-looking frame that makes her look very agile and graceful, though she looks just as like to snap with a stiff breeze.
Personality

At a first glance, Aurelle seems a little aloof and unaware of her surroundings-- and she does, indeed, seem to lack some innate fear that keeps her on her toes in case of predators. Without that sense of danger, she comes off as a very genuine person, however. She is always polite and good-natured, not because she expects something out of it but because she's genuinely interested in the people around her. If she ever offended someone on accident, she'd apologize profusely-- not because she thought something bad would happen if she didn't, but because she was genuinely remorseful.
She is, however, also a little dogmatic. The things that she does must be done in a certain way, and even if she's told a better or more efficient way of doing something, she'd smile, nod, and then continue to do it her own, convoluted way instead. She's very firm in her beliefs, and it takes a lot of convincing for her to actually change her opinion about something-- made worse by the fact that Aurelle has the sense to be polite, which makes her smile, nod, say she understands about it, and ignores it instead of inciting a big debate about the matter. What would help is being her friend; she tends to keep her friends very close and also in quite high regard. In fact, with her friends, she seems a little less stiff and mannequin-like. She can even get a little hyper, in which she forgets about the near-constant urge to be polite and simply... lives. She gets silly, playful, and can often take things a little too far (only to profusely apologize later, of course). It does, however, turn out that if she can, she will become a little bit of a prankster. She will mess with people just for the fun of the game; and usually only verbally, or by pretending. You should never, ever, introduce Aurelle to LARPing, because she'd absolutely adore it and become a totally insufferable person. That said, her joking does come from a genuine desire to have fun with her friends, rather than some kind of malicious intent. History

She remembers a few key things and can visualize perfectly fine, though she's largely forgotten all colours except for the first one she ever saw: the pink of her chrysalis. Learning to adapt fairly quickly, she's been living a mostly peaceful life since then wandering the caves and settling down here and there for as long as food and water has been accessible to her, and moving along once it wasn't. |
