Appearance

Upon emerging, Ayr could easily be mistaken for a white foal. She carries herself with more grace than a horse, however-- even as a newborn her steps are light and delicate, purposeful.

Her body is covered in an iridescent silver-white coat that gleams like moonlight. It's soft and silky to the touch. She's far slender and thinner than her horse cousins, though not to the point of unhealthiness.

Her long legs are feathered at the ankle; the air soft, clean, and quite curly, half-covering her cloven hooves. Her mane is similarly curly, a brilliant silver colour, and is often kept remarkably clean.

A moonstone gem is located as a band around her tail-- which itself almost looks like a very long, white lion tail, though it's thin and whip-like. There are long, thick tufts of fur coming out the end of it.

And, of course-- the most notable detail of Ayr is the single, ivory white horn that comes out of her forehead, spiralled to a very sharp point. It sits neatly on her slender face, which could be compared to that of an Arabian horse.

At an adult height, Ayr will stand at about five feet at the shoulder-- blending in with the height of most horses out there.

Personality

Eternally patient, Ayr is a creature that is filled with endless kindness and compassion for others. She is not judgemental in any way; and even so, she tends to think the best of people even when they present their very worst to her. It is difficult to offend her, and it is difficult to squeeze anything resembling anger out of her.

She is curious. She likes to learn, to ask questions, and most importantly, to listen. It is rare that she will talk about herself; instead, she will sit with another gembound and talk about them instead. This behaviour can border on accidentally invasive and rude, though it's a trait that Ayr might learn to curb as she gets older and grasps social standards.

Arguments with Ayr are rare and fights are non-existent. The unicorn is soft-spoken and understanding, often taking the time to put herself in the shoes of others to understand where they're coming from, and to take the time to help them understand where she is coming from. Arguments, if any, are better classified as "mild disagreements."

She may change completely as she grows older. She may not. It wouldn't be easy to coax her into being unkind or hateful to others, but depending on the company she keeps as she grows, she may change yet.
