"This creature stands, when upright and fully extended, about ten feet tall. This extends to thirteen or more long when skittering on its side. Its skin is translucent white. None of the tentacles have suckers; instead, they are filled with cnidocytes (stinging cells) that impart a venom that causes agonizing, debilitating pain that tapers off over about an hour (but no long-term effects).

The main jaw is capable of fully closing, the wrinkled skin there pressing together to hide the main, powerful jaw. The two humanoid "heads" are facades, but both can speak and use relatively limited facial expression in communication. They may turn one hundred eighty degrees to fully face each other and "kiss" while the main jaw is closed. These heads have high-pitched, soft voices; the main head has a much deeper voice. Most of this creature's anatomy is perfectly and symmetrically mirrored; when it scuttles about on all fours, it uses those mirrored legs *and* arms as legs, but it takes a lot of effort to move quickly given the joint configuration. It's much more graceful when vertical.

The pincers on the feet are extremely strong, capable of shearing through thinner bones (anything less than an inch across), and the 'claws' on the forelimbs are sharp, but flexible, capable of bending slightly."

The clearstone is set in the center and close to the base of the main body's tongue, hidden within the chest of the drone.

The creature known as Banshee is one being, do not mistake it. It is an oddly playful being despite its, uh, quite horrifying true appearance, enjoying conversation and activities outside of the usual dreary Hive standards.

Also it is quite aware that it has three heads. Two obvious ones, and the main body being its true face. And so lifelike are these two heads and so deeply does it love them, that it has animated them into their own beings. Remember, make no mistake - Banshee is one. But it acts as three.

The two feminine heads, Maiden and Morrigan (they already have a Mother so no need for one here), are excitable, sweet, and cannot get enough of each other. Like those co-dependent couples that have no personality outside of loving each other (which is, well, quite literally what they are!), they seem to enjoy public displays of their own affection, and will, on occasion, allow others into their little situation.

The main body, Crone, is a silent observer, having deluded itself into believing that Maiden and Morrigan are two separate beings that simply share its body. It likes to get in everyone's business and will consistently ask others to let it participate in whatever is going on, which is a personality trait it also also injected into its other two heads. Its nosy, a little shy (just Crone, the heads are quite sociable), and curious.

They are, in general, a little more disconnected from the Hive, finding it quite boring compared to the rest of the caves. They crave excitement, interaction, and friendship. Ideally, a party group where they can forget everything and just have fun. (Of course, Mother will always reel them back in. Perhaps she is just allowing the illusion of one that is "off the hook", so to speak)
