Appearance

At first glance, the Valkhound is all teeth and muscle. His whole body is like an ultra-violent, muscled alligator, with bulk all along his approximately 27 feet body. A third of that is his head- all teeth and eyes, built for destroying prey in any way he can. His front teeth shear with tusks and razors, while his back crush with a strong jaw- and, if someone manages to rip them out, they've got more regrowing rows to contend with.

Twenty-four eyes (split evenly on each jaw) all glow with a yellow light, each keen and made for pinpointing any potential target. These match the glow that runs down Baokrish's dark back in the form of golden leopard spots, all individually controlled by the Valkhound himself. His underside is a lighter, less armored show of scales- particularly around his chest and tail, where fins are thin enough to show faintly pink flesh. The dye comes from his deep red blood, oily in sheen.

It's evident he's built for the water. All four limbs, while nearly over-muscled and immensely strong, are build for kicking along with his tail for swimming, thanks to the fins between each digit. His claws are wickedly sharp and hooked for slashing on his front feet- the stronger of the two pairs. His back is mainly propulsion and acts as rudders, driving his immense bulk through the water with ease.

Outside of the ocean? He's an immovable obstacle, his keratin plates over his spine and limbs capable of taking plenty of hits. Laying flat should give him all the protection he needs, and he could easily weather out any physical storm that would come to him.

A monster, built to code and specification to be one thing. Nobody told him how he had to be a monster, though.

So, he's resorted to being the worst one he can be. Not in the going out of his way to be an ass sort of way, but he definitely fits the bill of being a brute. Big, loud, and brash- like a jock about to smash a nerd into a locker.

He relishes being the cause of destruction. Subtlety is not in his vocabulary- sure, he'll do what he's asked, and he'll be patient, but when he strikes, he's going to strike loud and hard. That's how people will know that he isn't something to be messed with. They won't be able to catch him in some scheme- he'd brute force his way out of it, or so he thinks.

So, perhaps he has a self-inflated ego problem. Who wouldn't, when you pop out as a giant monster and told you're designed to be one of the best? He doesn't flaunt it. He'll be happy with himself, lurking and waiting for the time to strike, ready to snap in chaos at the opportune moment. It's precision he's after. His job to be strong will be one to be admired.

And he does his job well. God of the Sea- a title given by birthright, given to a brute of a boy with the body of a titan.
