Appearance

Killed by an unknown creature. Her gem is kept by her sister DoveFeather

Blackfeather is pretty average for a cat. She's of no specific breed, just the standard domesticated shorthair. Her coat is blue-gray, almost as if she has a bit of Russian Blue within her blood. Her coat is short but long enough to keep her warm and comfortable. Unlike most cats it has a downy texture like that of a rabbit's. Her coat would be completely gray if not for the pale stripes on her coat. The stripes are only on her tail and her back as well as the tips of her ears and the bridge of her nose. The fur on her chest is also a pale color.

Her eyes and stone are the exact same color. They are a deep, deep green as if you are gazing into a forest. Some find that you can get lost in that endless deep gaze of hers. Perhaps they are only freaked out because of her lack of pupils. Her gemstone is deep green as well but sprinkled in it are black specks. It forms on X-pattern across her forehead.

On her left ear she wears a dark raven feather, this feather is what she took her name from. In the right light it shines with a purple-ish sheen.

Personality

They are alive...

That is what this feline will realize about the plants that surround her when she wakes for her first day into the cave. This feline will have a deep caring, a deep understanding of the plants around her. What they do. What keeps them alive. Even... What they feel... Well. Perhaps she can't really know what she feels but she imagines that she can. She likes to think that there is a greater force which makes the plants grow... this same force is what keeps all creatures living and helps them to grow. Plant eaters eat the plants, yes? And meat eaters eat the plant eaters, yes? So it all makes sense. Mother Nature or the All Mother is the guiding force of all... It's not uncommon to find this girl praying over a kill she has made, praying for the wellbeing of travelers, or praying simply to help a plant grow. She is extremely devout to Mother Nature.

To go along with her devout nature, she'll be kind and caring. By nature this cat is a healer and does all she can to help those in pain physically or mentally. She just hates suffering and pain and wishes the world wasn't filled with it.

History

This young kitten hatched in Eridanus in the shadow of the Monarch. From the feminine whispering from the inside of her cocoon she believed that it was the mushroom herself speaking to her, telling her to Live. Grow. Emerge. Learn. The young kitten took these lessons to heart. Shortly after hatching this young cat found a raven's feather (which she took as a sign from mother) and another kitten which she assumed to be her sister. This young kitten was Owlfeather and helped her understand the Mother's power better.
