TRINITY -- "the Christian Godhead as one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; the state of being three."

A fully-grown adult, this numbat has grown to 15 inches in length, and weighs in at 14 ounces. His pelt is a vibrant patchwork of colors, and is constantly musty and spore-filled, puffing up clouds of fungi whenever he moves. Mushrooms, generally either deadly or psychotropic, grow from the skin of his neck, chest and shoulders. Because of this heavy fungus growth, he almost always smells of rot, decay, and trapped sweat. A myriad of burn scars litter his back, preventing the fur from regrowing in patches. His right back leg is permanently destroyed from two separate puncture wounds, and the bone itself has healed broken, leaving the leg to drag along behind him when he moves, completely useless. His paws are heavily scarred by use of fire magic, leaving his front fingers both unnaturally bone-thin and webbed where they meet the palm. Most of his front nails are stubs, caused by nervous chewing.

The vessel's gem formed incorrectly, and jagged spikes of black opal jut out of his left eye socket and the skin around it, fully destroying the developing eye and compressing his optic nerve. As a result, he is partially blind, and his working eye's pupil is almost always overly dilated. When casting spells, the gem flashes and sparkles, ranging from blue-green all the way to pink, only stopping when the spell is broken. This generally gives away his location, making his fighting style much more aggressive than it otherwise would be.

Around his waist is a length of vine-woven cord, tied off at the small of his back. It carries a rough, hand-made "teacup" and an appropriately sized cane. The cane is made from sturdy roots, and its core glows slightly, giving off less light than the pebble, but a glimmer nonetheless. Strange, bioluminescent plants occasionally grow from it. Around his neck, a softly glowing pebble is strung on a chain similar to the one around his waist, acting as a permanently-active lantern.

BOOKER -- "scribe, binder, maker of books."
_{CURIOUS, BRAVE, EMPATHETIC, PATIENT, SELFLESS}

CURIOUS. Booker has, from birth, been filled with an intense scientific curiosity. He needs to know things, enjoys it beyond anything else; even from a young age, he began testing the effects of the different fungi spread throughout the caves, and will one day begin to document these attributes. This curiosity turned sour when it lead to the idea that Bloodhold, a spell that momentarily controls the blood of another animal, could be used to cause fatal heart attacks.

BRAVE. Tied to his empathy and selflessness, Booker will not run from a fight, disregarding his small stature and relative weakness. If someone is in danger, he will protect them. If his family is in danger, he will give his life for them. Regardless of the enemy's size or strength, Booker will do his damnedest to defend those in need - and won't give a second thought to his own safety in the process. This has lead to a myriad of permanent injuries.

EMPATHETIC. Booker has the ability to empathize with others - even if they're quite literally in the process of killing him. This can and has lead to him continuously forgiving those who use and abuse him, and made him terrified of continuing to be the understanding, caring one of the proverbial group.

PATIENT. Booker has endless patience when it comes to teaching or being taught, especially when those being taught are young. He adores kids, and jumps at the chance to teach them anything they might need to know. This patience also extends to those who seem determined to misunderstand or mock his intentions - or that may be masochism. His previous love of scribe work and the All Mother has been twisted into Priest's obsession.

SELFLESS. Stemming from a complete and utter lack of self-worth, Booker is selfless to a fault. He considers his own life to be worth less than anyone else's, especially if he happens to be friends with those who are in danger. This has amassed into an enormous guilt complex when it comes to those Baratheon has harmed, as he feels responsible for not stopping the dragon from harming innocent people, in addition to abandoning some of those said friends after one of his brother's bloody rampages. This guilt has slowly churned into a massive amount of anger and hatred towards his "soulmate."

BARNETT -- "to burn, to set light to, brave-bear."
_{SARCASTIC, SENSIBLE, AGGRESSIVE, THESPIAN, CAUTIOUS}

SARCASTIC. Good luck getting a straight answer out of Barnett, or even one that isn't in some way abrasive. He revels in saying whatever comes to mind, damn the consequences, and is, in a way, much more honest than Booker has ever been. If he has a problem, he'll tell you outright.

SENSIBLE. Giant white mushroom? Not a god. Giant dragon? Not good friend material. Tiny baby who needs help? More on his level. Barnett views most of Booker's life choices with total and complete disdain, and is not at all a fan of Priest or his worship of the All Mother.

AGGRESSIVE. If you mess with Barn, he will come at you like a spider monkey. Or down on you like a ton of bricks. A ton of very tiny, very angry bricks. It seems all of Booker's repressed rage, betrayal, distrust and hurt have been transferred and packaged into Barnett, like a little mean present. Counterintuitively, he doesn't front when these things come to the fore - Priest takes over instead, as a sort of proxy defense system against more conflict.

THESPIAN. Barnett is very, very good at acting. Indeed, he can mimic Booker almost perfectly, and thus far, very few have been able to tell the difference. He likes it that way. This acting talent doesn't seem to be marred by Barnett's almost constant state of drugged elation - indeed, it may even help.

CAUTIOUS. While Booker may be more of a run-into-any-and-all-situations kind of guy, Barnett is very much not. He's more aware of just how fragile the body is, and if it's going to stay alive, he's resigned himself to being responsible for it, considering Booker's complete and total lack of self awareness and self confidence.

PRIEST -- "minister of the church, elder, counselor, old man."
_{PIOUS, PROPER, DISTANT, DEFEATIST, SADISTIC}

PIOUS. At first, Priest's entire being manifested from Booker's devotion to the All Mother, and this trait stays at the core of everything Priest stands for. His decisions are based on what will ultimately be best for the Mother and Her flock, instead of on his own well-being. Blasphemy towards the Mother and Her strength will be met with an aggressive verbal dressing-down.

PROPER. Priest's words are well-thought-out, like every idea is a pawn in a game of chess, and every sentence is a move. He doesn't like to mince words, or waste them on the less desirable wanderers who he comes across (see: petulant teenagers), but he's always liable to talk at length about the Mother and Her history. Plus, he's pretty good at telling war stories.

DISTANT. No matter how hard he tries, Priest just doesn't like to truly get close to others, even if he loves them. Close bonds means getting hurt, and trust leads inevitably to pain; considering the core's track record, it's easy to see where this attitude comes from. Priest is only truly open around his son, Diot, but their relationship is more that of a minister and a preacher than a father and a son.

DEFEATIST. Perhaps one of Priest's hallmarks is his almost perpetual exhaustion, coupled with his overall negative view of the world. Despite his knowledge that nothing is black and white, he still divides it into such, seeking to rid of the caves of every Gembound who meets his idea of a "sinner" - including himself.

SADISTIC. Priest is the only part of Booker that enjoys victory on a level further than the escape from danger itself. He truly believes that hurting those he deems unredeemable is for the greater good, and goes throughout his life cataloging everyone he meets in either the "safe" or "unsafe" category. Those in the latter, he meticulously plans out how to permanently mark, using Barnett's own talents with fire.
