Appearance

All things considered Bremen looks pretty normal for a fox-dolphin-heron-cat-vulture, or Fodolhecavul as he tried to call himself for about an afternoon (pronouncing it differently every time he said it of course) before deciding to be all mysterious and just call himself 'a hybrid'.

Size-wise his main body is closest to a cat of equivalent age, but his wings are absolutely monstrous! Big old wings with fur and feathers that help him go all zoom and fly through the sky with agility and grace and super-fast speed! Oh! And don't forget about swimming! Those big wings are waterproof too, and while he might not be quite as super-fast in the water as in the air he can go quickly enough to chase and catch and eat all the fish he could ever want!

Aside from his little stealthy-small size and big huge wings Bremen has slick gray skin across most of his body and an awesome coat of brilliant white feathers at his neck. His beak is like a neat combination of the heron and vulture parts of his ancestry and really helps with keeping dinner from slipping away after he's caught it.

His yellow eyes gleam with a spark of life as he can often be seen taking note of everything going on around him all at once. His similarly colored topaz horn sticks out from his forehead, meaning he can't get into any headbutting contests because he'd hurt someone. It's sad but Bremen isn’t sad because there are lots of other fun things to do!

Personality

From his first breath of air Bremen has been a child full of wonder. With wings to soar through the air and webbed paws to explore the waters depths he has a burning drive to see it all, to meet them all, to do and learn everything the scant hours of the day will allow him to do. Even should he manage to explore every inch of the caves that would simply be an excuse to do so again- after all, the world is as full of life as he is!

This insane drive is the result of neither thirst for knowledge or desire for power, but pure undistilled hyperactivity. He always seems to be moving, always thinking. If there is nothing interesting around he may start crafting faces out of fallen leaves and building structures in the sand. If there is no way to move he is bound to start humming discordant notes in search of a new tune or rattling off word games with himself out loud.

While this energy may lead him to acquire a great and diverse skill set there are two mental flaws that he can never seem to fully grasp nor fix. The first is that he is extremely trusting; the very concept of lies as anything other than a means of telling silly stories is a foreign concept to him and the very real danger that other living entities may present to him is completely lost in translation. In addition to and possibly causing the first issue is his extreme ignorance of negative emotional responses. He doesn't tend to feel sadness, fear, anger, or jealousy; at least as far as is ever really visible to his ever-racing mind. If something truly tragic were to happen to him or those around him he might figure it out eventually, but for far too long his mind would simply be unable to even process something like that.

As he grows up his daring adventures may grow larger and more elaborate, but his mind will never let him slow down. Forever young. Forever innocent. Forever naive.
