Appearance
As a cub Cadence is a round (slightly chubby) ball of puff. She has a full coat of snow-white fur that's thick just like her father's. From her mother she obtained the ruff of fur on the back of her neck and a bit of tufty fur on the top of her head. Usually she likes to keep this fur brushed into her face and over her right eye because she thinks it makes her look "cool" but her mother hates this and usually will grab up the wayward cub and groom the fur back into place. Cadence's ears and nose are pink while the rims of her ears are black. The same goes for her short but furry, bear-like tail as it is also pitch black and usually wiggling when she's excited.
When Cadence gets older she'll grow out of her chubbiness and will fill out with more bulk and muscle than her mother has ever had. She retains her feline grace but is obviously a powerhouse with her huge paws and bulk. Her black claws are fully retractable even though they are rather long and sharp like a bear's. Cadence's eyes are a deep sapphire blue and on her left cheek a piece of obsidian shows. Many think this tiny piece of obsidian is a beauty mark but it is actually not.

Personality
Cadence... What is there to say about Cadence? For starters, she doesn't care much for rules or people telling her what to do. This hybrid wants to be her own gembound and live her life without rules or responsibility. You can try to tell her what to do and try to tell her to get her act together but will she? Probably not. Along with not caring for leadership or responsibility she doesn't care what you think about her or what you have to say. You can insult her and call her out of her name but she won't give two cares about it. She'll just smile in your face while she throws back her own insults. She also has no trouble with backing up any words she says... Fights will probably be a common thing in her life.
Now, usually this girl is laidback and not caring about anything that someone says... But she can become riled up quite easily when she wants to tell someone else what to do and they won't listen. Yup. Hypocrite. She doesn't want to listen to rules herself but she loves to be in charge. If you'll listen to what she says then she'll tell you what to do. If you don't listen to what she says she'll still try. Perhaps she'll grow out of it one day but... that's still up for debate. This is about the only way you can tick her off is by questioning her leadership and whether she knows what to do about a situation. Well... That and insulting her family. Cadence might give off an air of not caring about anyone or anything but really she cares deeply about her family and others, she's just bad at showing it sometimes.
What Cadence really tries to show off to everyone is her "coolness" and her skills at singing and making rhythms. Now... As mentioned before she doesn't care about what you think and will happily exchange insults with you but sometimes people don't know that this is her norm and will want a fight. Cadence is not above this as one of her favorite pastimes is rough and tumble play. She's not afraid to get down and dirty and is quite happy splashing about in the mud.... much to her mother's chagrin.
