Appearance

Embodiment of a snowy forest, warm browns streaked with red and bright ice-blue fur. A beast in shape - long, strong bodied with four legs, growing to just over 6 feet at the shoulder, but they seem to be both predator and prey. Back legs like a reindeer - strong, good for kicking, and sturdy, heavy hooves, for walking steadily on the ice. Front legs more nimble, standing on two large clawed toes with fairly dextrous dewclaws on each foot. Good for gripping both ice, rock, and prey. A long sweeping tail behind, reaching nearly its full body length from base to the tip of its long fur.

Its fur is course and wooly, shorter along its body and legs, but thick and magnificent along its neck, stretching under its belly. Ice-white in contrast to its normal brown tones, with stiff peaks like icicles arching along its body. The king of winter's mantle, while atop their head sits the crown - a wonderous collection of antlers that both arch forward, back and curve around its deer-like head. They seem to blend with the darker markings over its eyes and reaching to its muzzle.

Its deer like head is made strange with its long ears, as if the ears of a wolf or a lynx had been placed sideways on its skull, beneath its crown. Two pairs of bright, pupil-less, ice-blue eyes peek out of the dark markings on each side of its head. Its mouth bears host to two pairs of incredibly long saber teeth, the longer pair on the top jaw. Its mouth can open very wide to accommodate these longer pairs of teeth.

Its gemstone is attached to the bone on the bridge of its nose, a small, curved spike of snowflake obsidian.

Personality

He's as fresh as newly fallen snow, as curious as a stray snowflake, as bright and innocent as a child playing in the light morning powder. He's as every child should be - new and full of potential, but mostly filled with light. He's friendly and open and perhaps a little foolish. Curious to almost a dangerous point, following trains of thought all the way off cliffs, from the start of one cave to the end of another. There's not much in his head yet besides a thirst to see and learn, but what else is to be expected from a child of intelligence? ...Although maybe not a child of wisdom.

As he grows, his childlike behavior will shed to something more stoic and serious, but no less curious. He's bold and unafraid, although can come off quiet and unintereseted at times. He's as immovable as the mountain, stubborn and steadfast in convictions. He finds comfort in friends and charges, coming into the spirit of a protector. He finds life and the world around him to be so important, each individual life worth his protection. Smaller creatures in particular he will find needing his protection the most. While usually nonviolent, he does not turn away from a fight and may even provoke one himself if he feels necessary. While he doesn't seek out evil, without that drive to commit acts of heroism, he does what he thinks is necessary.
