Appearance
A bright flaming orange hot cheeto cat with a head that's shaped like a Capybara. His ears are those of a cat, and black horns curve off the top of his head. There are also gills on the side of his neck that allows him to breathe underwater. At the end of his tail is a fish fin that allows it to propel itself through the water, and packs quite the punch when used in attack. There are black stripes on the sides of the belly while the tail and paws fade into black scales, imitating shadows, although it isn't useful in camouflage as the rest of his body is too bright. The nose has a patch of these black scales too, and is very boopable. The wings are a bright cheeto orange too and and edged with a bright blue while claws on the edge of wings that can be used for grip. The firey raspite is situated on top of the head like a fin of flame. Being a mix of a capybara, flame angelfish, cat, and dragon, he has a diet that includes a wide variety of things, ranging from plants to meat to seafood.
When fully grown he is 20 feet long not including the tail which makes it an additional 5 feet longer. The wingspan is 40 feet from tip to tip. Hatches at 1ft and grows 6ft a cycle until it hits 25ft at cycle 5. When he re-emerges, he will suffer a blood disease that causes random, momentary bursts of agonizing, burning pain throughout his entire body. Episodes happen at least once a day, and can last up to 30 minutes at a time (roll 1d30 for length). They are severe when they happen, and may immobilize Callum while the episode is ongoing. Wither: Callum will emerge from his chrysalis weak, exhausted, thinner, and a little withered. He will find himself easily tired, and physically and magically less strong. This is effect is not quite as severe as it could be, but still moderately incapacitating. This can be healed if Callum remains awake for a full four cycles, and then returns to his chrysalis to rest. Personality
Callum is very bold, not afraid to back down from a challenge. This can become a problem, as his competitive nature often causes him to bite off more than he can chew. You'd think these would get him into enough problems, but he is also impulsive and reckless. He doesn't really think things through before he does them, like breaking his paw before he realizes that punching stone isn't a good idea.
Decisions are often made the same way, on the spot and in the moment, never taking too long to mull over something. This is very useful in situations where you need to have quick reactions, but in other ones it could actually be very harmful. Along the same lines of this, he also is rather blunt and isn't afraid to speak his mind. This might be rather deterring, but that makes his words all the more truthful. Callum doesn't see the point in holding anything back, nor sugar coating things. Sometimes people just need to see the harsh truth. He tries to maintain the same attitude and remain tough around those he cares about, but in reality he really appreciates snuggles, even if he would never admit it. His respect is not given to many, nor is his friendship, but those he learns to care about are people he will fight for. That said, it is hard for others to like him too, but if you can get past his bold and blunt personality you will see that he is actually very soft inside. History
