Appearance

A massive creature, at nearly 20 feet in length from head to tail, and mostly resembling the ice worm in body shape. A thick, long body covered in tough, thick, ice-blue scales with hard, lighter plates running down the underside of its belly. Along its back is a mane stiff, hard quills and running down its body are a number of spikes in a variety of sizes. Its head, however, is almost exactly like its life-giver's. Draconic, with two curved horns on the back of its skull and bright ice-blue eyes. It also has a set of mandibles on each side of its mouth, which is filled with many rows of sharp teeth. Its tongue is set far back in its mouth so not to catch on the teeth and is fairly long. It can stand up thanks to a pair of powerful front legs with large talons on each toe. It also sports a pair of wings, nearly 20 feet long in wingspan. However, due to the weight of this creature, and the relative shortness of its wings it can't quite achieve true flight and instead uses them for gliding and speed. It's stone is a razor sharp blade going through the end of its tail.

Post Mutation: Charon post-mutation looks more like your classic dragon. His wings are bigger and actually flight-capable at a good 35 feet from tip to tip and have shifted. Instead of two pairs of arms they've morphed into a single pair, making him a wyvern, and he now has a pair of strong, stocky hind legs.

Personality

Charon is rather blunt and oblivious, often misunderstanding things. He struggles to connect with others due to being left alone at a young age. His family that he should have met left Monoceros before he ever could, leaving him to fend for himself when Asimona mysteriously left. He ended up wandering the caves for a few cycles, getting lost over and over and even falling ill, his terrible cough leaving him weak.

Now, however, he is in a much better place, both mentally and physically. He has a home, has reconnected with his family, and generally feels better. Over time he will grow more soft and willing to converse and socialize, the tamped down betrayal by his mother’s abandonment easing over time.

Charon likes his alone time, but values time spent with his family, too. No longer does he feel like he has to prove himself, though he still wishes to become stronger. He wants to for himself, not to make anyone else proud, because the only people that matter are already proud of him. After a while, he’ll explore the caves properly to ensure he doesn’t get lost and end up wandering into a dragon’s den once again searching for shelter.
