Appearance

Coilean is an athletic, upright mammalian biped. There are a few notable quirks in his anatomy.

Yes, those are sword arms. The metal is home-made.

The substance is maintained by supplementing his carnivorous diet with rocks and minerals. His resting smile hides metal teeth, designed to weather the generally inedible. His lower jaw is made up of two bones, the surrounding meat surprisingly elastic - like a pelican - allowing it to store objects of considerable size within its flesh-pouch.

Coilean sports a ridiculously strong bite force, but rarely employs it for self defense. The sword arms are better suited for this, and he has rocks to eat.

His gemstone, a slender piece of Beryl, replaces his seventh rib on the left side of his ribcage. It is not usually visible.

Personality

Born into strange circumstances and alongside stranger people, Coilean is inclined to warmly accept the oddities of his life. Things tend to work themselves out, in their own time - and there are always things that are within his control.

He chooses to treat others with kindness, because he can, and because it's never a bad option. Even if these caves challenge him, he'll persist with a warm smile and a hug at the ready.

(The hug being metaphorical.)

Coilean has a tendency to forget the nature of his forearms - he just doesn't have the time or focus. He's always ready to move, to get something done or start a new project. His favourite activity when idle is to eat rocks - a lot of them. This is healthy for him, don't worry :)
