Appearance

Crying Eye is a small, dainty little bird, about 9 inches in length once fully grown. Mostly covered in soft white feathers, some off-white and some a pale gray. These white feathers cover the majority of their fluffy, chubby body as well as their neck and chin. Along their back is a cover of darker feathers, grayish-brown in color, which transitions into their wings. Tipped with an ice-white and displaying a darker gray color. When fully opened, there's a streak of pure white breaking through the darker colors right near the middle of each wing. Meanwhile, their tail is mostly covered in the dark color, with the white displayed on the outer feathers on each side.

They have two stick-like legs with three front claws and a back claw, making Cry a perching bird. It's colored a charcoal-gray color, which is the same color present on their thin beak. Their eyes are crystalline blue, crisp and clear, which seems to reflect the color of their gem, a small angelite egg just underneath their left eye on the cheek. It looks almost like a teardrop, which is how their name originated. Their voice is quite loud for a bird their size, but chirping nonetheless. It is sweet, yet neither feminine nor masculine, although if one were to pick, they would probably say it was leaning more feminine.

Crying Eye finds the dramatic in everything. The world is a stage, after all, and the denizens merely the actors. Life is drama and excitement and even simple acts can send their heart aflutter. This tends to lead to over dramatization of everything. They desire to be in the right place all the time, they always want to be where everything is happening. Having to go through the routine of a day with nothing cool happening is extremely dull. Even if it causes them to get hurt, they require something happening, all the time.

They have an annoying sort of superiority complex that can easily get them into trouble. Despite being younger then many others, they constantly act like they know better and refuses to listen if they believe wholeheartedly that they are in the right. They are a little easier to convince, however, if they are doubtful of themselves. They are a reasonable bird, after all. They enjoy being at the center of attention, but can easily stand the sidelines if something really amazing is happening and they believe that they have some control over the situation, even if they don't.

While this all makes it seem like Crying Eye is not one to easily make friends, that is horribly incorrect. Cry is extremely easy to hang out and play with. They're playful and sweet and love games and mischief. They love to tell stories and to sing to others, especially if it's a means to show off.
