Appearance

Cygnus is a tall, white moose with soft fur and one black sock on his left leg and a small black start on his forehead. His tail is short but fluffy, and his body fur is longer and coarser than the fur on his legs and face. His eyes are speckled, with a dark blue base with lighter blue and cyan dotting around the iris. The speckles glow gently, giving the illusion that the entire eye glows, when that’s not the case. His feet have two hooves on them, as well as two small dewclaws on the back of their feet.

A crown sits upon his head, his gemstone, a beautiful black opal piece that looks like glass, pointed and sharp, yet delicate.

He walks as if stepping on literal eggshells, as if he were trying not to break what was under his feet. Despite his massive size, he’s as graceful as a bird, moving in slow, calculated movements, though if he needs to, he can run fast.

At full maturity, Cygnus will reach an astonishing height of 6’9” ft at the shoulder, with a fantastic rack of antlers, bone-white and large. He will be able to run at about 56 km/h.

Since Cygnus eat aquatic vegetation, his nostrils can close similar to a seal’s in order to not let water in. He can also swim very well, and is able to cross bodies of water rather easily.

Personality

Cygnus is actually rather shy. Despite his massive size and imposing appearance, he’s graceful and a little elusive, often avoiding conflict and trying not to interact with others at all. He’s so shy he’ll often run away from others if he doesn’t know them, which makes it a bit difficult to make friends. His first cycle is the best time to form bonds, as he’s curious and inquiring at this point.

He’s a kind individual with a heart the size of the moon, and often he’ll do his best to overcome his shyness if others have a need for him. He’ll ferry small gembound across bodies of water, tend to the wounded, or light the way in the darkness with a wisp. He acts as a sort of ethereal guide in the forests of Pegasus, though that’s only when you find him and manage to get him close.

With his wisps, he travels the woods, the tunnels, often hanging around in Cepheus, blending in with the herds of Ivory deer, pretending- hoping people just think he’s a very large one.

Otherwise he stays away, content to eat grass and continue his simple life, though occasionally he’ll answer the call of a friend.
