A broad sort of cat of the Norwegian Forest breed. Despite the thick muscle and even thicker coat, her steps are sof tand near-silent and her eyes are overtly keen. Her tufted ears and ever-twitchy nose might indicate that she's always alert, or-- more likely --is just being a cat. You know how cats are.

Her face is relatively square-shaped and heavy, with darling green eyes and an odd little stripe going up her nose to the back of her head. There's some odd, freckle-like dappling beneath her eyes, too. Very cute. Her chocolate-and-sand coloured pelt is framed with thick swathes of white, which include little white toes and a flashy pale tail-tip.

Deernose's gemstone, a raw bubble of malachite, sits on the nape of her neck and is usually hidden behind a thick, white mane of fur.

Her voice is soft and sweet, and she seems to take extra care in grooming her fur and keeping it untangled. To the detriment of anyone in the vicinity when she hacks up numerous hairballs.

A people-pleaser, though not exactly a doormat, either. Though Deernose is largely very loyal and just about does whatever her friends and family tells her to do, she's also unfortunately quite the over-thinker and will assume circles over herself into coming to absurd conclusions.

She does not, however, take disrespect very well. Insults, even jokingly, are often met with extreme, sudden outbursts and extended grudges being held. I'd call her 'sensitive,' but she'd resent me for that, too.

When talking, Deernose is very animated. Ears twitching, tail swishing, paws gesturing. She loves being able to dump information about her hobbies or teach other people how to do them, but, hypocrite that she is, absolutely hates to see other people do what she does better than her.

There's also a little bit of a jealous streak to her. If people she likes aren't giving her the attention she wants, she clams up and acts distant. This largely stems from a fear of abandonment, though who knows what good pushing people away does when she just wants them closer.
