Mauve skin is dappled gold, covered in a near-translucent fuzz of hair. She is not particularly unusual as far as the things to walk Origin go but she would stick out from the crowd for a fair few reasons; the first of which might be her stance. Her spine is quite straight, she walks on only two legs, and instead of claws or talons, she has a pair of calloused hands with nails that are too short and too blunt to do any real damage.

The second is that she has no real fur to speak of except for a mass atop her head and on the tip of her tail. The hair is pale pink, curly and thick. If left alone it crowds her shoulders and face like a lion's mane and tangles through her horns and goat-like ears. Even stranger is, however, that more often than not it's swept right back, tight against her skull, and tied backwards with a small length of rope-- particularly when she's set off to start working around the forge.

The third, and perhaps the oddest, is that she drapes herself in all sorts. It isn't uncommon for some gembound to wrap themselves in old charms and jewellery, but not hides. Alongside a gold ring on each horn and one on her tail, Serendipity wears cloth-- woollen, usually harvested from the woolly deer --on her body to keep herself warm. They're often quite loose but they don't have the wear-and-tear you might expect from something tossed aside in tunnel J.

Her proudest piece of attire is the long, dusty-rose coat. It's huge, woollen and warm, good for cold winters or cooler spots in the caves. It's split at the back to accommodate her tail and features two sort of pouches on either side, which are often crammed full of... junk. It's unclear, in fact, just how big they actually are-- but it's unlikely that she's walking around with black holes embedded into her jacket.

When she speaks it's with a slight, smoke-damaged rasp-- though it should be noted that the inside of her mouth and her throat is fairly calloused to withstand heat. It's unclear by now if this is a trait she's developed through her own magic or if it's a genetic trait-- but the detail-orientated may notice that the corners of her mouth are rougher than the rest of her face, chapped and dry from fire damage.

Despite this much, she holds herself very confidently. When she grins her cheeks cave into dimples and her eyes scrunch up. There isn't a shred of anything disingenuine to be found on Serendipity's face-- everything she does is honest and out of the goodness of her own little heart. Even her laugh, rasping and smoke-damaged, is hearty and comes from deep within her chest, capable of infecting people around her.

Her gemstone is the same golden colour as her eyes; but it glitters pink in the right lighting. It covers the majority of her left palm, making it difficult but not entirely possible to hold things within it.

The effect that her best friend/sister, Azure, is clear-- there's a borderline cynical tone to Serendipity's humour and outlook, but it doesn't come from a place of hurt or anger. She's been gifted with not much of a filter. If she finds something unfair, or suspects someone of lying to her, the person in question is likely the first person to know. This much can come across as brash and abrasive to others, but perhaps admirable to others.

It doesn't make Serendipity any less willing to help people if they need it or not-- a fault she hasn't quite figured out the consequences yet --but it does underline a very stubborn way she goes about things. Although this mindset of "I will get it done no matter what" might also be admirable, it does show a more angry side of her. Someone who is infuriated at losing, who will run into danger without second thoughts, and someone who is too quick to curse themselves out for small mistakes. It should be noted that when Dip does get angry it's never at anyone in particular-- no one but herself, at least.

Even deeper-rooted than all of that, however, is her passion. Serendipity loves what she does. She shines best when left to her own devices to think and tinker and create-- a trait similar to her sister, too --often putting thousands upon thousands of hours of time into it. She enjoys being able to rifle through old things and repair them, study them, and recreate them. Very importantly, too, Serendipity enjoys sharing them with others. If one were to quiz her on what she knows about smithing, they would be in for an unfortunately long lecture on the process-- of metal-gathering, smelting, forging.

Though, this particular trait is likely considered quite charming to the majority, and Dip's charisma helps with that. Her confidence knows no bounds, anyone who can and will get befriended will be forced to introduce themselves. An introvert's nightmare, perhaps, but she does, at the very least, know when to take it down a few notches and read the room for herself-- which can't be said of everyone in the caves.
