Appearance
Dovefeather is still alive and around, I am only on hiatus. You can PM me or message me on skype if you have questions.Barely a foot tall, this strange cat has grown into her baby weight easily, appearing slim and sleek now that she's an adult. She weighs just under ten pounds, and in general is just about as easy to overlook as she was as a kitten. While she has learned to be a bit quieter with age, a tell tale sign that Dovefeather's around is the constant hum. Just don't mistake her for Nemean, alright? Her fur grows in kinky, curled and wavy. Rippled and mostly white, her fur is extremely soft to the touch. Along the top of her head, and along her back, down to her haunches and tail, her fur grows dark. Her fur is quite a dark, smoke grey now that she's an adult, and it will only shift closer and closer to black with age. Her hind legs have large spots of white, and she has prominent socks. On her forepaws are two important black spots. Her nose has a teeny black blotch, and her chin is similarly grey growing black with age. Her toe beans are just as dark as everything else, of course. Her eyes are uninteresting, the usual sort of golden-brown for a cat but incredibly pale. Her whiskers are white, no matter where they are on her body. Lastly, her tail was chopped in half (though it is still long enough to express with) when she was three cycles old as it had succumbed to frost bite and needed to be amputated. Interestingly, if one were to look close are her teeth, they would see that the top fangs are shinier-- and in fact, almost transparent. Her whole skull is made of star moonstone. One might also notice that one of her bottom canines are missing. Aside from natural appearance, this cat has a notch in her ear from where she hangs a golden, glowing dove feather at all times. The feather is primarily white with a black splotch, and glows no matter what time of day. Occasionally she is seen carrying a stick that glows an unnatural shade of green. Personality
Dove is currently hanging out with Bones and Booker, and avoiding trouble.Dove hasn't changed much since she was a kitten, but there are noticeable differences.Dove sees. There isn't much else to this kitten, other than she sees so, so much. And she will tell you all about it. And probably never shut up. She picks out meaning in just about everything, and won't hesitate to tell any and everyone about it. That being said, she can grow quiet-- stumbling into more of a mumbling purr-- but getting her to shut up completely seems impossible at times.In fact, the only time Dove isn't rambling out all of her consciousness thought, is when she is truly seeing. Perhaps with age she will grow more quiet and reserved like her quote-sisters-unquote. Like her quote-sisters-unquote, Dove is obsessed with nature. She loves plants and fungi, and is eager to worship the great giant mushroom that stands like a king in Eridanus, but there is one place she loves more. The Eyes. She swears they see and know all, and does her best to learn from them. She speaks to these small ponds constantly, trying to learn their secrets. She is sincere and honest, and probably the worst cat alive to tell a secret too. She shares all of her knowledge on to anyone willing or unwilling to listen, unabashedly. The world will listen to her some day. As Dovefeather has grown into an adult, she has learned to keep her mouth shut, though this hardly stops her from purring. She has become more skeptical, and often prods questions out of others instead of spurring forth a stream of conscious thought constantly. She still is a worshiper of the All Mother, but she has since decided that the All Mother is less of a Deity and more some greater power in need of her help. Currently, the feline is concerned with the sickness of the All Mother in the form of the Eyes closing, and her faith is being tested. She has fallen for a curious Aardwolf named Basil, and she has been struggling with whether or not she should follow her feelings or stay independent for the sake of obedience to her faith. She is a bit colder, a bit more reserved, a bit harsher than she once was-- but underneath her sharp tongue is a cat who is still filled with wonder for the world. History
