Appearance

Monstrous is the most accurate word to describe this formation of flesh and Oil—her shape is not at all familiar to any denizen of the Caves. At the brawny shoulder, she is ten feet tall; when her neck is held straight, the top of her head scrapes thirteen feet.

There is hardly even a face to look at. It's all sanguine keratin, a near-religious halo of horns framing the length of it. Four sweep back, and two jut from the sides; spined ram's horns extend out from the angular cheeks. Six black eyes peer from pinholes on either side. Nostrils and heat-sensing pits lie closer to its maw. On the center of its forehead is a triangular duplicate of the Black Spire's sigil. A permanent grin is on full display at all times, suspiciously flat teeth stained grey with the constant leaking of its innards.

Her deceptively small mouth peels wide open, the width of it extending rather far down her thick neck. It's full of hooked fangs and a massive, prehensile tongue with many grasping feelers

The rest of her body falls somewhat into the category of generic quadruped; except for the pair of arms reaching from the shoulders, webbed fingers tipped in gigantic, slicing claws. She walks on muscular, clawed hands and raptorial feet otherwise. A long, densely-muscled tail stretches behind her, acting as a counterbalance to her massive head. Spines run the length of her dorsal stripe, all pointing forward, rather than back. A line of thick, coarse hairs covers her undersides. Her hide is sinewy and leathery, painted predominantly in muted browns.

More often than not, she is dripping with Oil.

Personality

Chaos drips from more than just her physical being. Draconua lives it, breathes it, makes it. She does so blindly, at first—or perhaps forever, time will tell. Left on an intravenous of uncut visions of chaos, one cannot say she knows any different. Her chaos is not a subtle one. It is destruction and mayhem of the highest order she can muster; broken earth and exposed Oilstone. When she crawls out of the darkest corners of the Womb, anything that moves should find their own nook to fester in until her rampage has ended.

There is hardly a consequence that can curb her enthusiasm for destructive might. The earth she treads may leave her sleepless; tentacles might twist around her form; choking whispers would ring through her skull—she embraces them all. Magic is corruptive and destructive, and she craves it. Draconua, stalks those with visible gemstones - Lesser or not - and waits for them to decay before consuming their Oil. It's one of very few consistent methods she employs.

One will never be able to train her out of her own programming. Chaos is and will forever be a part of her—yet, the very base concept of entropy is that anything is possible.

History

Draconua was a machine made of flesh and bone, Oil and Chaos. She was fully-formed just in time for the Caves to fall silent for thousands and thousands of cycles. Left beneath the Black Spire, she engorged herself on every vision of chaos and destruction.

With the Womb disturbed, she awakens... and, oh, how violent she is.
