Appearance

Drake is a very large specimen for his species, a little over four feet in length at full growth with a wing span of almost nine and a half feet. His body is covered with bright orange feathers, each individual feather patterned with darker splotches and a color almost white. Meanwhile, his wings are dark as night on the outside of the feathers, with the inside being a dull, pale tan color. On the inside, the black is really only present in the small feathers lining their muscles. The long feathers that make up the most of their wings are gray-ish brown on the inside. The black feathers on the outside spread out along his shoulder and actually stretch out onto his chest a little bit. There are a few scattered feathers on his chest and back that are the same color as his wings.

His head is a little different then the rest of his body. He has a long, narrow face that transitions to a tan colored, hooked beak on the end. The feathers turn the same gray-ish tan decorating the black feathers on his wings and around his eyes is a stripe of black that follows the shape of his beak and curved down at the end of the feathers and a small tuft hangs just below his chin. The tan feathers are speckled with tiny bits of black. His eyes are a strange yellow color, with the whites of his eyes being replaced with a blood-red color.

Drake's gem is situated on his head, started just at the base of his beak and splitting into two just before it goes over his eyes. On each side of his head, it spreads out into two dragon-like horns that connects to the base of his skull. The gem is a dark maroon, almost black color speckled with white.

Personality

Aggressive - Rebellious - Rude - Dramatic - Shameless - Adrenaline Junkie

Aggressiveness dominates Drake's personality. In speech and action, Drake is forward and blunt, unafraid to do whatever he wishes, to say whatever he wants. Drama and fighting fuels his spirit and he revels in absolute chaos. This doesn't make him evil, however - pain isn't included among the many things that make him pumped up. He doesn't actively seek the destruction of life nor does he care to put himself above others. He simply likes the thrill of fighting and of life at its most extremes. He's an adrenaline junkie and he's not afraid to admit it. Fear isn't even a possibility.

But even he has to admit that life isn't always excitement. He won't always be brawling or chaos won't always be raging. It's at life's continuous drone that he can be seen as lazy, uncaring, and, quite frankly, very rude. Anger simmers beneath his composed, laid back surface and frustration at his boredom can turn words that were once neutral to snide remarks and passive aggressive comments. He doesn't really know about being nice, to be honest, and he doesn't really care for it unless it somehow interests him. He can be a little dramatic at times like these in an attempt to spice things up a bit.

And of course, with all of this, Drake's favorite past-time is definitely fighting. The thrill of a brawl, the feeling of dominating his opponent or even being knocked down by someone who is stronger is the greatest feeling in the world. Since pride is such a little thing to him, he doesn't mind losing once in a while. As long as he had his fun, the battle was worth it.
