Appearance

The little hatchling version of this great snake will be relatively pink, appearing to be nothing more than an aggressive worm that makes a low, growling hiss. Despite her very cute appearance and noises, her bite is as deadly at birth as it is at maturity, so it is wise to not upset the delicate little thing.

Eyes are a solid black, which shines like gloss. Every scale is pale; white or a bit pinkish. This little serpent is a leucistic, glowing white scales with otherwise normal traits, like the blackened eyes, pink tongue, and fleshy insides. At birth, she is about two feet long, but will easily grow to stretch beyond 18 feet from nose to tail. Her mature weight may push to about 35 pounds of muscle and bone. Her head is big and bulky, mouth capable of stretching quite wide. Her hood stretches out nicely as well, definitely giving her a larger and threatening appearance, especially with those black eyes glaring.

The end of Egahi's tail is her gem. From just below her cloaca to the tip is a hardened white jasper, which has a beautiful mix of black within it. The color both matches and stands out against the rest of her pale body. The snake is very fond of her gem. She does acknowledge the danger of it's placement, however. She fears it would not be difficult for it to be stolen away, which is not wrong. Fortunately, should she ever choose to, she would be able to stab another gembound with her tail, earning her an interesting alias.

As you might assume, she is technically deaf, having absolutely no ears. Luckily, she is sensitive to vibrations on the ground and in the air. Lip reading and understanding verbal vibrations is a talent she emerges with, and perfects with age. When talking with someone and is excessively interested in the conversation, her head may waiver and bob slowly, trying to "feel" what is being said.

Personality

With instincts, she is a very avoidant creature, preferring to dodge any coming conflict. Danger often sends to to hiding; not from fear, but from the drive to hold onto self-preservation. However, if cornered or agitated, she will lift the majority of her body up high, bluff, then attack with venom that could knock down an elephant in a matter of hours.

As a person, she is generally kind, but very frank and somewhat blunt. Those who take offense to her words do not phase her. Feelings won't be hurt when someone takes something the wrong way, nor will she care if they choose to disown her presence. This doesn't mean that she does not value friendships. She does very much. It simply means that she has no interest in wasting her life away on those who choose to dwell on - what she deems as - petty matters.

Egahi is a relatively confident snake, happy to stand up for herself in non-physical situations. She has the potential to be a worthy leader, but is more likely to continue upon the path of pure self-preservation, versus trying to create some kind of following. If ever in a position where she follows another, she will not be a good candidate for brain washing or blind following. She will shamelessly question anything that doesn't settle right with her. In situations where something is excessively questionable, she is not only the first to speak, but also the first to pointedly abandon if it is not necessary for another's life to stay.

Another noteworthy quirk Egahi has is her perfectionism. Perfection fills her inner monologue like air to her lungs. It has yet to be an outward problem, but it has the potential to.
