Appearance

ONE, FIRST

Despite being a Sunda flying lemur, Eko is neither a lemur, nor can she fly. She can, however, glide, and is almost exclusively either gliding or climbing at all times - it's very rare to see her on the ground, as she finds it below her stature. Her gem has replaced the bone of her eye sockets and is connected by a thin strip of skull, sparkling orange and red under brown fur. It does not affect her vision, but causes her pupils to be highly reflective, more often than not lending them a strange, eery glow.

She'll only ever grow to 14 inches in length, with a 9.5 inch long tail. Eko will eventually grow to weigh 2.5 pounds - not exactly the biggest, most intimidating creature in the caves. It helps that she's best friends with a dragon, though. Speaking of which, it's fairly common to see her carrying fruits, berries, nuts, and even dead animals, collecting them to offer to her best friend. Spores and some small mushrooms occasionally stick to her coat, though she doesn't seem to mind.

As her trickster nature and magic suggest, it's actually pretty rare to see Eko in her natural state - she's generally using some spell or another to alter her appearance, or to disappear completely. Ornate designs - or, more probably, doodles - are often drawn to encircle her arms. She insists they're for luck, but they might just be scribbled out of boredom.

PRANKSTER. Eko gets most of her joy out of life through pranking others. She loves tricks and japes, and will often camouflage herself, fading into her environment, before sneaking up on others and spooking them. If you're travelling through Eridanus and get pelted by pebbles from above, it's probably Eko!

SARCASTIC. General Annoyance, aka Queen Snark - both titles fit Eko well. She doesn't like touchy-feely conversations, preferring to mock and pester, answering with riddles and barbs. It seems the only one protected from this is her sister. Then again... would you peeve off a dragon?

HOARDER. Eko loves shiny things and food, and tends to steal both from anyone she comes across. It doesn't matter how attached they are to the object - in fact, the more emotionally invested in it they are, the more she'll try to take it! This might be problematic if the shiny is, you know, attached to your body...

MOTOR MOUTH. A single word can turn into a debate, a sentence into a fight - and at the end Eko will cackle and probably call you a fool. Yeah, she sure loves to talk, but it's all aimed at making you waste your energy on nothing... nothing but embarrassing yourself, that is. She'd probably make a great politician.
