Appearance
A creature that is semi-furred and semi-scaled, Emrys is far from pretty. Already large from birth, it will stand at seven feet tall at the shoulder, and a pair of retractable blue-black wings will only serve to further it's large size. While it may look like something that has crawled from the depths of a nightmare, with it's iridescent blue-black horns and half-feline features, there's a sort of gentle air in its eyes. Or maybe it's just something other than blind, feral hunger; who knows? Emrys itself certainly doesn't, but it already knows enough that it could pack itself with more confidence that a much smaller, less intimidating creature would be unable to have. They may be scary, yes, but they would not have it any other way.
The oilstone in the middle of it's chest, upon first glance, likely just looks like a regular marking. The milky white hood surrounding its head seems far more likely to be a stone, after all, and with Emrys' darker coloration the stone doesn't stand much at all. Or....It wouldn't, were it not set in a milky-iridescent marking, a small spike of black against an otherwise ivory. If not for the fact that every part of them stands out in some way, the amber glow of their eyes would be catching; a warm color against all the inky hues. Personality
Elayne is a creature born of chaos, but she does not let such things so simply define her. As complex as she is to look at, her internal thought processes are even more so. She is intelligent, and furiously power-hungry, seeking at every opportunity to strengthen herself. She is not the sort to carelessly throw away her life, and instead works to maintain her existence so she can continue her plans.
Said plans are constantly evolving, building, and adapting to new situations. As a result of these plans, she can have quite a one-track mind, though it can be difficult to follow exactly what she is up to. There is never one straight forward answer, and it can be difficult to even speak to her. As such, very few beings will manage to strike her interest. She is domineering, powerful, and all together too cunning to waste her time and energy on simpler creatures... and she is incredibly judgmental. To be fair, she is not without her own flaws, and indeed she has an immense hoard of personal secrets, but she will almost never divulge them to anyone who isn't strictly inside of her circle. There is a fragment of what could be called humanity inside of her, but it is constantly kept under check by the dominant voices that thrum through her thoughts. It rarely sees the light of day, festering away in the deep reaches of her soul. As she grows in power, her flesh will decay underneath her, and she will seek ways to hold herself together. Her journey to strike a balance will ultimately destroy parts of her, and she may be reborn time and time again as she seeks her truth being.
