Appearance

Elspet will perpetually be an imposing figure, enormous in stature and coupled with fierce horns perfectly shaped to make her into a battering ram. Her horns---formed of raw, smooth yellow sapphire---also serve as a conduit for the electricity that courses through her lifeblood. Her eyes are identical in coloration to her stone, fierce in their glare. She is a bit troll-like in appearance, with a slight underbite causing pronounced canines to protrude slightly from her lips, almost like very tiny tusks.

Her fur is rather plentiful and soft, painted with a blue hue that has quite a sheen to it. It lightens towards her back and rear, taking on a silvery hue. Where skin is visible on her hands, feet, and face, it is a slightly lighter shade of blue, creased with the efforts of cycles to come. Her short muzzle will carry imprints of a snarl, just as her brow and eyes will. Strangely, the thick brow of her species is slightly less pronounced, but still there. The characteristic “dome” of her skull is also arched back slightly, perhaps to make way for her gembound horns. Overall, she appears to be a mix of both male and female gorillas.

Fully grown, she will stand a menacing six feet tall on two feet. Despite her generally toned appearance, she will still clock in at about 430 pounds.

Personality

She fits the cliché of “gentle giant” at times, and at other times, she is just as fierce as her appearance would suggest. Her emotions are rarely shown in her indifference to life, passive to its transgressions. However, never let it be said that Elspet Tordn doesn’t have opinions and thoughts. They are there and will be heard regardless of consequence, because she is fully aware that she has the mettle to match up to those consequences. At the same time, she is not a bully. She carries restraint, and offers compassion as needed, as deserved. She does not kiss up, does not coddle. Her states tend to fly into the negative more than the positive, anger rising faster than true happiness. What’s impulse control? Again, she’s confident in herself and her ability to match up and throw hands. If she’s gotta start yelling (with a side of cursing) about another gembound’s stupidity, you can bet an infinite amount of money that she will.

Beyond that hard exterior is a secretively sweet lesbian. The one thing that receives all of her softness is her girlfriend. She supports everything that she does and strives to only see her achieve. Gembound may sometimes find her delicately sifting through flowers in Eridanus, picking the sweetest and finest.
