Appearance
A vision of monochrome pale, accentuated with points of brilliant flame: purity with a splash of fire. Thick white fur and pearly scales, ivory claws and horns, pristine gleaming wings, all utterly bereft of pigment: ember-bright eyes and a single, diamond-shaped Clinohumite gemstone forehead shine like flame.
At first glance, it is clear what Ember is: the white-hot melding of dragon and wolf. The face and head are unmistakably lupine, with firelit eyes seeming to shine with hidden wisdom, as a wolf's so often do. The thick fur ringing the neck and throat in a mane, extending down the back and tail, cries wolf. Yet the grasping talons, the wings, the horns swept back from skull and jaw, the pointed spines, the plate-like scutes shielding abdomen and chest--all are immediately recognizable, to most, as a dragon's. Other aspects find a middle-ground: a longer, muscled neck; a thick-furred but sweeping tail. A smooth, resonating voice is capable of a baritone bellow or a singing howl, and the movements are the considered grace inherited from two predators. Ember stands five and one half feet at the shoulder--or ten feet when often sitting fully upright, on his haunches--and eleven and a half feet long from nose to rump. He is quite capable of true flight, its soaring silhouette at first glance simply "dragon" against the cave roofs high above. Personality
One would not expect to such a massive beast to come across as shy. Where the nature of his parents were those of indomitable will and violence incarnate, Ember will rarely show these aspects unless extremely pushed. Instead, he is solitary, peaceful, a quiet and creative creature with considered thoughts that he mostly keeps to himself. Where both of his parents held flame and combat beloved, the patience, mercy and logic of his adoptive parents has shaped him more strongly, instead.
If ever pushed, it is possible that Ember's blazing soul will shine, perhaps in the form of rage or simply strength, but thus far, Ember has never been pushed--it is an unknown ore waiting in the forge. Instead, he thus far displays self-reflection and quiet empathy. Ember at least shares those characteristics imparted by both parents and by its adopted father Pride: a lack of panic in the face of danger, a calculating mind, a deep love of magic, an appreciation for the aesthetically beautiful, a loyalty to family and guardianship of the weak, and pride taken in a job well-done.

Dragonscale Helm - clickFound in Tunnel J, this helm is a broad, flat, wide helm made of large, dense scales. The leather padding within has long decayed away, a deep crack runs through the back, and it is fitted to something more akin to shark than to humanoid.
Found here, enchanted here. A chest of old wood and worn leather, with a brass buckle at the front and hinges at the back. About three feet long, and a bit over a foot and a half wide and deep. Enchanted with Levitate, though its weight means it barely lifts off the ground.
Granted in this post by The Wishing Stone in Polaris, May 2022, Sir Hammersly is an enchanted blacksmith's hammer. It can communicate to Ember mind-to-mind, and its personality is essentially that of a cranky old blacksmith. It tends toward the irritable and temperamental, but its advice can be helpful in learning to smith. OTHER
