Appearance
At a first glance, this being looks to be a beautiful humanoid. And the vampire is beautiful in a way, no doubt, but in more of an uncanny way.
While usually covered by hair the color of white gold, their green eyes with slit pupils look like the eyes of a viper. When their mouth opens, wider than a human's ever could, their sharp teeth meant for cutting into their prey are very visible. Their tongue is also noticeably longer than a human's ever would be. Their ears are quite pointed. Erasmus has skin quite literally the color of white and gold marble. It is not only beautiful, it is also rather tough though smooth to the touch. Their hands and feet are notable in possessing gold-colored claws, sharp enough to cut into the skin of unarmored beings. All their senses are heightened to such a degree as to be overwhelming at times. The reason they hide their eyes is because of the way harsh light effects them. As such, they much prefer darkness which they can see in well. There is a pheromone that Erasmus naturally releases which tends to have a slight calming effect on those around them. However, far more notably is the other substance produced by their body that acts as a 'venom' of sorts when Erasmus bites or scratches a being. It is not a killing venom. No, this venom causes one to feel extremely euphoric. It is an addictive sensation, quite literally. This vampire, though formed with the ability to kill, is meant to leave prey willing to offer more blood. Erasmus almost solely consumes blood. They can drink other liquids generally though it will not satisfy hunger. If they attended to consume any solids they would find themself unable to keep it down. Their gemstone is red pearl, and it is formed near their wrist in a shape that could pass as a bracelet if it was not embedded into their skin. When fully-grown, Erasmus is 6'6". Personality
On the flip side, however, Erasmus often responds to insults with pure rage usually with the addition of violence. Their mood shifts easily, and they can be incredibly vicious when angered. They can be a calculating individual, downright manipulative even. But, what Erasmus most wants is to be admired. Erasmus is a name derived from the word 'beloved'. But this vampire does not consider lovable, not even by their own self. They may smile at compliments, but it is hard for them to believe in words of praise. Some of the time, they can still manage happiness. Still, their mood shifts easily and quickly into less pleasant emotions. But they are terrified of lashing out. Violence sickens them. They are incredibly intelligent, even with their upbringing or lack thereof, able to follow logical patterns fairly easily. History

Found beside the deteriorating body by the dragon Alek, Erasmus quickly becomes attached to Alek who is willing to speak hard truths yet care for them regardless, though they feel they do not deserve this care they cling to it. They carry around Callum's Raspite until a cycle passes and they are old enough to revive it, along with giving life to two small pieces of Alek's amethyst stone to ensure the child has siblings. |
