Appearance Personality History

Evelyn is a small being- a bird, only measuring at about a foot in length, tail included. She's rather normal for a bird too- two wings, two legs, a tail and a beak, and covered in feathers. As a dove, her beak comes to a small point, and her wings are built for fast flying. Tan covers her nearly fully, with hints of darker colors and black spots on her wings and below her cheeks.

Interestingly, though- and perhaps something that sets her apart from other doves- is the piebald splattering across her body. It looks nearly like waves, focused on her back and wings, curling at the edges of her feathers. It matches her shiny gem- two sparkling white opals nestled behind both eyes, as well as taking up part of her skull in thick webbing.

The dove seems to carry herself with an air of innocence, taking her time as she walks and attempting to have a modicum of grace when she moves. As a child, perhaps this won't be as strong- she won't be able to fly yet, and she'll be a little awkward, but she will try her best anyways.

As she flies- when she becomes practiced at it, and grows out of her baby feathers- her wings will whistle as though heralding her arrival. They make a pleasant noise like a wavering whistle. Her voice, too, when out of its childishness, will grow to be sweet and calm, like her own coos that accentuate her dialogue.

She's young. She's naive, just like every other kid, and she wants what any kids want- to discover, to be happy, to have fun. She's rather innocent in this regard- she doesn't know the dangers of the caves yet, and she doesn't want to know.

She wants an adventure.

Other than this, she's somewhat of a blank slate, fit to be molded by her own actions and her own self-taught lessons, her explorations and meetings in life. She'll seek them out, every one she can find, and find an answer for everything in her own self-righteous confidence. She likes being right about things, but she won't gloat about it- and often, she'll try to find every answer, and pick out the most right one.

So, yes, she may be a little stubborn, but she isn't set in her ways fully. She likes seeing all sides of the puzzle. And what is a question but a puzzle unsolved?

And questions unanswered are her own sworn enemy. She will find answers- even to little questions, and she'll have fun doing it!

In the end, a lot will be dependent on her own interactions with the world- either through talking to others, or finding her own quests, she'll grow and change with the world around her and her own viewpoint on life.
