Appearance

As an adult, weighs in at just over 420 lbs. Stands 4 feet tall at the shoulder, and is 6 ft long from nose to tail tip.
Faelan is covered in a short, coarse coat the color of sand. His bright golden eyes finally fit his head, and his wide paws are the base for four thick legs, and a stout, muscular frame. His short, round ears usually sit upright on his head, intently listening to everything that is going on around him. His tufted tail is just as attentive, always seeming to flick to and fro and never seems to settle for a second. Now that he is fully grown, a massive, bright gold mane frames Faelan’s thick skull. It cascades halfway down his broad shoulders, covers the entirety of his wide chest, and trails between his thick front legs to end partway down his ribs. His ears are almost completely hidden amongst his mane. Bits of white mark the fur on his chin, belly and in between his toes. The tuft of hair at the end of his tail matches his mane in hue and thickness.
Scars now mar the older Gembound's once flawless pelt. The most distinguished are those on top of his left forepaw and along his left side.

Personality

Faelan has a near obsessive love of learning, also known as a bad case of constant curiosity. He is fascinated by every aspect of his new life, and he wishes only to know more about the things and creatures he comes into contact with. This can be both a blessing and a curse for the male, since he carelessly blunders into situations without really considering whether or not they are good for him. When spoken to, he is friendly, polite, and very informative. If given the chance, he can carry on lengthy discussions about just about anything. In his mind, there is no need for violence or harsh words, and thus he tries to avoid them at all cost. He isn’t a complete pushover though. He will readily defend himself, or someone he is close to, if provoked. When he becomes attached to someone, he is very loyal and caring. Maybe not in the most obvious ways, since he doesn't express affection openly, but he would do anything to help them, even if it was at his own expense. However, being a bit vague, he is known to lose companions quite often after they become tired of his strange behavior.

- Unwittingly discovers Senka's den. Gets, briefly, trapped in the Void because of it. Flees at the very sight of Senka.
- Travels to Polaris, meets Sebastian.
- Travels back to Orion in search of more memories, only to be brutally attacked by Blackberry and Blueberry. Flees the fight before death.
- Travels through Polaris in search of Sebastian. Makes way to Tunnel H instead and meets Mercurius.
