Appearance

Fisher is, well, a Fisher! Belonging to the same family as Wolverines and Weasels, this thick furred, bushy creature is quite long and agile. Fisher himself is about 40 inches long(once he's fully grown), with dark, almost jet black fur-- especially in the dim light of the cave. While his fur is really a deep shade of brown, it tends to catch the light and trap it, making him look quite dark. Around his face and shoulders where his fur is less thick, you can see his red-tinged brownish color a bit better, and his ears are the most obvious, being an even lighter brown than most of his fur. Fisher has a unique, barely noticeable pattern of dotted stripes along his fur that might grow more distinguished with age, but for now they're barely even noticeable.

He has short limbs and an incredibly long tail, while his face is triangular. His ears are small and round, and his eyes are often black to the rim with his pupils. In bright light, or perhaps other conditions, his pupils would shrink and show his striking, copper colored irises. Like most of his species, he has sharp, white claws that are retractable and very flexible ankles. He also has quite pointy teeth, but hopefully you won't have to find out!

Fisher's gemstone is a beautiful Scapolite gem, which is fairly unremarkable and hard to notice, being a dark auburn color. However, like most gemstones made of Scapolite, a sharp, bright line of yellow that looks remarkably like lightning traces down the direct center of the gemstone and catches the light brightly.

Personality

Fisher is a curious creature by habit, but perhaps not the most friendly. Self assured, this confident cat (okay he's not a cat) has quite the streak of pride. He always believes he's right, and will absolutely never admit he's wrong unless it's life or death. That being said, he is quite clever, and can weasel (that's a bit closer) his way out of trouble using his wits. He's just an incredible problem solver, and while he doesn't know everything-- not even close-- he does quite well with what he does know or can infer from a situation. He has a bit of a spotty memory and can get lost incredibly easily, which gets him into most of his trouble, especially if someone's looking for him to help them find something. He will get them lost and refuse to admit it.

Fisher likes to believe he's a lone wolf (no no no!) and for the most part, that's probably for the best. He's abrasive at the best of times, and downright nasty if he doesn't get along with someone or is in a bad mood. He can get incredibly lonely, but this just makes him more stubborn and well, push others away from him even more. He does his best to make his own path, and although he doesn't mind helping others (a good boost of ego for him) he almost never will accept when he needs help. He hates showing weakness, but is also prone to never shutting up and revealing his problems verbally, even if someone asks him about something he's said he will deny it until he dies.

Did I mention he lies about himself constantly? Well, he does. He's a fairly honest guy most of the time, except when he's wrong, but he hates talking about himself and will straight up make lies.

Also he couldn't remember his name, but he remembered the term Fisher, and called himself Fisher. Of course, later he remembered that was just his species name, but he refuses to change it. He will probably fight anyone that brings it up, honestly. He's a touchy, sensitive lil' brat.
