Appearance

Fograves is a fox, his pelt is white with grey dapples scattered across his body, as well as his grey tipped tail, ears, and paws!

his overall body movement is rather jumpy, he is startled easily and is constantly watching his surroundings. he walks with a slight wobble in his first few weeks of hatching, and never really grows out of it.

his eyes are a dull shade of green, his sclera a yellowish off-white. in his later years, they seem brighter.

he wears a dried baby dandelion from when he first hatched behind his ear, and refuses to take it off. he has sworn to keep it for aslong as he can. he seems sad when he mentions it, but won't explain why.

his lower right cheek has a deep scrape from when he first hatched, he fell face flat onto the cold stone and earned his first actual injury. it's no longer visible by a quick glance, but he traces his fingers along it at times in thought.

when he sleeps, he usually does so with his mouth wide open, which usually results in him hilariously waking up with various bugs in his mouth, or just a very dry tongue. he also drools. a lot.

he avoids most physical fighting as he prefers his job as a healer, and due to this he is not very skilled in most combat. he will protect his family if need be, but he does not feel violence is the end all be all of solutions

he, after a seemingly stress and sleep deprivation induced mutation, now stands on 2 legs, about 3 feet and 6 inches tall, and his paws have now shifted into hands. he wears his hair, longer on his head, in a ponytail.

Personality

Forgraves is overall a peaceful, though easily troubled soul. he is emotional and cares deeply for all he meets, and feels deep sadness at connections lost, those of family breaking him most. he holds those he loves closely, and apologizes in his heart for that he cannot do more in the way these caves demand to protect them. he only hopes his pacifism will keep those he loves away from the eyes of those who wish to harm.

when he IS involved in conflict, it is usually not by his own choice, as he does not go looking for trouble. he tries, in ways he can, to defuse the situation, and thinks running, if you do it well, is never something to be ashamed of.

his fears are mainly the usual, anything that can and maybe WILL hurt him. however, it includes some oddballs. he has a terrible fear of moths and large bugs, save for a specific friend he hasn't seen in quite a while. the only ones he cares for are beetles, and he will absolutely let them crawl on his paws, as they mean no harm.

he is usually very sensitive, despite trying not to be. he cries easily and has some issues with self-worth. he is other than that quite cheerful, despite his usual anxious demeanor. he has soothed a bit since his childhood, but he still has his fears. he still has a small stutter when stressed.

he has a slight fascination with skulls as well, he thinks they're an interesting look into what makes every gembound up. he doesn't collect them, but he does like looking at them if he gets the chance.

despite all his anxieties he's a curious soul at heart. his studies in all things medicinal and scientific have led him down a path of discovery, and very little can keep him from it. get him talking about it and he won't shut up. he has since developed a fascination of the stars, and worlds beyond his own, and the world beyond these caves.

- Baby Dandelion: during an exploration with @Azrael , he received a baby dandelion, which he still holds on to, and eventually pressed it to preserve it.

- Enchanted Flask: an enchanted flask that changes the color of liquids inside of it to show their physical and mental effects. (see enchanted items portion of profile)

- Goggles: a pair of silver steampunk goggles with a black leather strap and 2 examination lenses on the right, and 1 medium microscope extension lense on the left. lenses are clear from the inside and crystalike on the outside. each side has a set of knobs and gears for adjustment.

- Golden Pocketwatch: a golden pocketwatch with a gold chain, roman numerals engraved on the inside. floral patterns are carved into the pocketwatches outer shell.

- Spectacles: a pair of spectacles with large, round, brown frames with clear, clean lenses.

- Star Chart Pendant: a pendant consisting of a black woven chain and a blue-ish purple crystal, the crystal in which having a star chart carved in gold into it, both inside and out.

- 3D Astrolabe: a miniature, 3d astrolabe of an unrecognizable planetary system, adjustable at will.

- Clockwork Toy: a clockwork toy of one of ursa's antlike creatures, a golden windkey on the back. it moves in mechanical fashion.

- Puzzle box: An ornate, wooden puzzel box with 6 different sides. something rattles inside of it.

- Porcelain Teaset: A fragile porceilain teaset, containing a kettle and teacups, a creamer and a small cup for sugar, and tiny silver teaspoons. The entire thing is beautifully wrought, with only one tiny chip on a single cup. they are colored a pale pink and white, laced with gold and silver.

- Baubled star pendant: a simple, thin sheet of obsidian layered over a Baubled pane of white quartz. The obsidian, then, had pinprick points of holes through it, allowing the light to pierce the dark, attached to a silver locket, on a silver chain, the locket itself a circle some three inches in diameter. When opened, however, the locket depicted a starry sky--remarkably realistic, each star giving off soft, bright light.
