Appearance

This is an odd creature, especially for a canine. At birth Gabriel will be almost completely bald, with only a few scruffy tufts around the paws, tail, and head. its skin is pink, unmarred by any flecks or speckles often present in its breed. At birth, it will be only 10cm tall.

This creature's eyes are, and always will be, large and bright and a stunning crimson colour telltale of albinism.

Its legs are short and body thin. At its healthiest, the dog will be 30cm tall and weigh a maximum of 5kg.

As it ages, thin and scruffy tufts of fur will grow into a mane long and luscious, whilst the rest of its body will remain completely bald and pale pink. pointed ears will poke just barely out of the mane that pours from its head and cascades around its shoulders. Its paws also possess socks consisting of flowing fur, and similarly, the fur of its tail will sometimes even trail on the ground behind it.

One thing that will always remain the same is a ring of interwoven spines formed of what appears to be pure gold forming almost a halo around the dog's head. This is its gem, and is in fact fool's gold.

Personality

It is hard to tell what Gabriel's intentions are. This being has a huge curiosity for magic, and is always trying to find new ways to use it. Unfortunately, this makes the little one very trigger-happy, and is constantly trying to test out what it has learned. Its preferred magic spells though are ones that involve seeing and knowing things just out of its grasp.

It doesn't seem to have the capacity for sorrow or empathy, and every word is spoken with boundless optimism. It never seems to be sad, accepting anything that comes its way and brushing it off. Its form of comfort to others is reassuring them that their kind is still thriving. Why grieve about death when you can return stronger, right? This stance can, at the moment, be passed for childish innocence and obliviousness.

Despite its apathy, this creature is not stupid... oh no, far from it. In fact, everything they do seems to have been very carefully and painstakingly planned.

Even when young, adult concepts such as reproduction and reincarnation already lie nestled in its brain. It knows things that it very much shouldn't, and yet things that should come naturally simply don't.

One would think from meeting that this little one lives for the sole purpose of helping others. It wants to have the chance to help, and you may find that you end up owing this one small favours... favours that will soon add up. Though what it's saving all these favours for is anyone's guess.
