Appearance

Graham is a big boy, even when he first emerges from his chrysalis. His paws are huge, far too big for his body. This makes him clumsy from the get-go, and he has a tendency for stepping on things without seeing them, including small gembound. He has broad shoulders and a big block-shaped head, although there's a bit of a natural knot on the back of his skull. He's well-muscled, and should grow into a strong creature. His fur is long and feathery, especially on his legs. Splotches of color are splashed across his body, mostly on his back and head, while his legs, tail, and lower face remain snow white. Meanwhile the top of his head and the splotches on his back are russet, with some black on his floppy ears and around his eyes. His nose and lips are black, with some black "freckles" on his muzzle. His face gets droopier as he ages, and he has a tendency to slobber. On his chest is a barrel-shaped gem, his stone, which starts out green and starts turning pinkish-purple towards the inside. Tourmaline. It isn't the flashiest of things and in fact will look a bit dull and worn, but Graham isn't the flashiest of gembound, anyway. His eyes match the green of his gem, with tiny flecks of the almost purple color in them, although these are not visible unless you get right up on him and stare into his eyes.

Personality

Derpy is a good descriptive word for Graham. This big boy doesn't have the brightest mind in the cave, that's for sure, but he makes up for it with a huge heart of gold. While he's clumsy, he'll be the first to turn around and apologize for accidentally stepping on someone, and he'll get a lot of practice at doing it. Thankfully he has a lot of padding, because it's bound to be a common occurrence to see him falling over and off of things. He just can't quite to seem to get those big paws of his under control for a long, long while. Sensitive to the bacteria life around him, Graham values life in general. He believes every life has a meaning and purpose and that it is valuable, even if that means they feed another life. Ask him to explain this further in depth, or why some lives are simply meant to fuel another's, and he probably can't tell you, but he can feel it in his heart of hearts. He's a very empathetic and feeling-motivated creature, and when his motives are questioned, he's more likely than not going to shrug and say that that's what he felt was right. Because of this, his moral compass may be a bit wonky, and while he's dim enough that he can be manipulated, sometimes his feelings get in the way of what he's told. Still, Graham is more of a henchman than anything, the muscle behind a different brain. All he really wants to do in life is help, but his clumsiness, in action and in everything else, might hamper that.
