Appearance

As an adolescent, gwazi will be the size of a large deer fawn. He would even look the part if his stripes were spots and his ears weren't so large. But alas, the boy's breed makes him a bit more gangly and somewhat outlandish. His legs like stilts, lighter in comparison to his body which is a slate gray hue. The stark contrast of his white stripes makes for a rather eye catching fawn. As of now, the young boy's horns haven't grown in yet, so his head is bare. His gem, a red garnet, placed precisely atop his nose, just before the soft muzzle begins. It's small in size, starting as a rounded base then curling ever so to mimic a rhinoceros's horn. When the greater kudu grows into maturity, he will be a rather large antelope indeed. His body will reach eight feet in length, while he stands five foot, five inches at the shoulder. He will weigh in at a staggering seven hundred pounds. In addition, when the mighty kudu is grown his horns will reach four feet in length, twisting upward from his skull.

apart from general body sizes and gem color, the antelope's eyes match his garnet gem. they are a deep red, almost like wine, almost like fresh blood. they are not bright, nor distinctly red. much like his stone, perched atop his nose it's a dark wine hue, shining brighter when it hits any light available. generally, upon initial look, the stone's burgundy color is so subtle, it almost looks black.

Personality

Gwazi as a young fawn is rather inquisitive and talkative. He often finds himself exploring anything and everything, asking as many questions as possible as well as prodding for the answers to said questions. As he grows and learns, his talkative nature will die down some, and he will do his best to inform others of the good natured alliance. He pities the darker character, feels they are misguided and confused. He tries to be helpful in all situations, and would rather talk it out than to scrap it out. He will fight vigilantly, stubbornly for his own beliefs and friends - but if a discerning discussion can be had, he'd rather that. The greater kudu will grow to monstrous heights for an antelope, keeping to larger rooms and avoiding the narrow tunnels as he finds himself somewhat claustrophobic. Upon initial meeting, gwazi is kind. His voice is a low baritone though without rasp and imperfection, smooth like velvet. Gwazi is not without imperfection himself, as the man can be quite stubborn and set in his ways. He refuses to acknowledge anyone else's beliefs about the cage with grace and understanding, rather gwazi tends to preach his own beliefs. He will pity those who don't follow what he thinks, only due to the fact he sees them as utterly confused and misguided.
