Appearance

Gypsy is an agile, fluffy blue superb fairy wren, tiny even when standing on her feet. Vibrant blue and black plumage adorn her head and back, the ebony colour blooming across her chest to also paint her beak. Her belly is a gentle shade of ivory, and her long, playful feathered tail is a lively indigo. Her ruby gemstone has manifested itself as an intriguing permanent masquerade mask, lodged deep into her skull above her beak, and curving around elegantly to embrace her eyes with delicate style. The gem-mask has decorative spikes in the middle, allowing Gypsy the option to decorate it with feathers by slipping their ends in between the space. Shining black eyes with hints of shimmering cyan and azure peek out curiously from the eyeholes. Long skinny tarsi, often decorated with an anklet by their owner, are supported by lithe talons with sharp claws.

Gypsy was born a creator - a performer, artist and crafter. Creativity knows no bounds and imagination has no borders. Small yet fierce, her attitude is that of a lion, boldly willing to take risks and often acting with brash hot-headedness. When she is not musing about a new creation or performance, she enjoys exploration and adventure. Boredom is her greatest adversity. She harnesses her intelligent curiosity of the world to draw inspirations and designs. She enjoys learning, and would go great lengths to find answers to any questions that plague her.

She is a charismatic, optimistic, and energetic individual, although when chasing muse for an important piece of work, she can become very edgy, grumpy, and full of unpredictable mood swings. As a perfectionist, Gypsy can sometimes be very hard on herself and others, especially when it comes to artistic endeavours. Stubborn and prideful, she can become stuck on a particular idea, unwilling to acknowledge other options or even take in criticism. However, she is also very protective of her beliefs, loyalties and ideals, and would never back away from a blaring challenge against them. Possessing a sharp wit and tongue, she doesn’t like to shy away from expressing her opinions. The alarming mix of curiosity, bluntness and focused determination can often land her into all kinds of trouble.
