Should such a thing exist in worlds outside of the cave system, places for animals to grow soft and fat, to be tended by gentle hands. And to then, in turn, feed those hands. Hog would be a perfect fit.

Hog lacks any real physical means to defend herself, tusks that won't grow longer than a mere inch, a bulky body of tender meats and a lack of any real grace or strength. She is simply, a pig. If we cast our thoughts back to our hypothetical world outside of the caves; she may be considered a mix breed, an Oxford Sandy and Black pig mixed with a Tamworth pig, with one lopped ear while the other stands to a point -- partly with the aid of her gemstone.

The golden pearl sits within her ear, it's round form large enough to be seen from the front and back of the ear, kept in place only by the cartilage and tough hide of the ear. It's position lends itself to looking like an earring or ear tag, only in a pearlescent gold.

There is very little other defining features to the gembound. If she were to exist in another world, she'd be at the mercy of the wilds. Craved for the quality meat on her bones. May the caves be more merciful than our imaginary world.

After her emergence, Hog spent some time learning what to eat and what not to eat. What tastes good and tastes less good. While she didn't make it far from her emergence spot, she did spend a lot of time exploring food and gaining inspiration from a visit to Scorpio.

She spends most of her time in Polaris. Seemingly indifferent to the surges of magic; or perhaps simply growing used to the sensations coming from the cave.
