Appearance
Sharing equal parts genes with his stone and life giver, this child is a vaguely humanoid shaped creature with the flexibility, and tough, loose skin of a mustelid. With thick, shaggy fur that grows denser on his head and down his back to his tail, his coloring is primarily a dark blue with lines of paler blaschko.
His extremities-- limbs, ears, muzzle-- are all darker than his much paler underbelly, and his thicker fur is more like coarse hair, presenting as a rich, deep brownish auburn. He stands easily on two hind quarters, with a long, whip like tail for counter balance. He has retractable, black claws and dark purple-toned flesh. His muzzle resembles that of a mustelid, with sensitive whiskers and sharp white canines, while his hands are built much like a humanoid, providing him ample dexterity to manipulate objects. His bichromatic eyes are a rich violet and a pale gold. His brown hair will continue to grow throughout his life time at the rate of human hair. Once it's long enough, he will often tie it back, or have one of his siblings braid it. His gemstone is a pearly white selenite that composes of his skull and presents on his forehead, exposed in the shape of a crescent moon laid on its side.
- Hunter's brown hair, including the hair down his back and tail tuft, have been permanently dyed using rainbow titanium. It retains its flexible nature, but is incredibly tough and durable, acting as a form of armor. Personality
Hunter begins life as little more than an adventurous little nugget, constantly trying to dig into things he shouldn't. While he isn't necessarily brilliant, his pervasive curiosity makes him creative and inventive in a way that is particularly unique to him. He adores his father's creations: weapons, tools, even how he tames fire; and he wants to be just like his father.
... Well, not entirely. He had a want for independence and uniqueness, a drive to stand out from the crowd of his siblings and both of his fathers. It pushes him to do things others might not, though he adores his family and spends a great deal of time with them. He can be a bit slow to make friends, not that he doesn't enjoy companionship or others-- in fact, his widespread acceptance, tolerance, and love for other gembounds he wears wholeheartedly on his sleeve-- but he is hard to keep up with. He obsesses over ideas at times, and often assumes that other people are as independent as he is. His lack of mindfulness often makes him what others might consider a bad friend, or simply, not someone they end up close to. He can be forgetful of other's needs, while in the same breath staunchly defensive of those he cares about. Sometimes he forgets to say that he loves someone until he's already off, out on another adventure. He simply shows his love in other ways, really; in bringing home gifts, in making things for his family, in random spontaneous acts that really never come up the same way twice. He identifies as female, with a pastel aesthetic and a love for fantasy, and this by most people's accounts should conflict with his masculine nature, his desire to use he/him pronouns for himself, his fierce admiration of paternal figures, and general need to be very in touch with his butch side. He is, by all accounts, pastel, flowery punk through and through. He has a strong and powerful, constantly growing and expanding identity, one that compromises for no one, protective and adoring and completely unashamed. History
