Appearance
As a calf, Hyperion is a small thing with a massive orb stuck on his head. Not even horn nubs grace his head yet. His fur is shaggy, yet does not do much to obscure his skinny, calf frame. His colors do not change from youth to adulthood. He remains the same dark black as an adult of his species.
Hyperion is a towering black cattle. A body, squarely shaped. Muscle and bulk, a sturdy frame on even sturdier legs, then tipped with wide, grey, cloven hooves. A sheet of heavy black fur, even darker than his body, travels from his front legs to his back legs, covering the whole bottom of his stomach. The trail thick and long enough that it covers the top half of his legs. The tail is just as thickly furred, a flag of heavy fur flicking from a short pole. A wide hump begins at his shoulder, dark hair spiking up, ending at his neck. Two horns jut forward from his forehead, pale bone at the start, darkening to tips as dark as his fur. Between them lies his gemstone: a Clinohumite orb, a spire sticking from it to the sky, and two smaller ones to the side. His face is boxy as well, the muzzle ending in grey. Small ears tip the sides, flicking every which way. The eyes are white, glowing slightly. Hyperion carries himself with an air of stoicism. Muzzle high, glowing eyes unreadable, with smooth, bounding steps. Graceful for a beast of muscle and strength. At the peak of Hyperion's growth he will be 6.7ft at the shoulders, and around 11 feet in length. Personality
Despite his name, his appearance, Hyperion is calm. The flame is inside, and Hyperion unwilling to stoke it. Age and the influence of Mother will quiet what begins as a hyper, rowdy calf. Hyperion is patient, unendingly so. Despite his age, Hyperion seems to have a sense all will pass. He is quiet, preferring to speak with ear flicks and tail waves.
Hyperion's voice is deep and smooth, the words flow together easily.
