Appearance

Jasmedai is a plant, that much is obvious. And as such, the first thing one notices is her flower. It is a massive thing. The relative size of an SUV closed. When clamped, it resembles a curled bud, with a distinct split horizontally. It is composed of massive, reddish orange petals, with the trailing tips fading to yellow. However, when Jasmedai unfurls her flower, one realized it is more than that. It is a pair of jaws, the ends curled up into a smile. Dark, almost black sickle teeth stretch from her jaws, creating a cave. Within those jaws, she possesses a tongue. It is pale, green, though towards the tip the shape becomes unsettling. It becomes a genderless human figure, pale greenish white. With blinking eyes and a speaking mouth. A perfect replica of a face. It is unsettling, how well it copies the form of a human. Even the texture is there. The only thing wrong is the strange, green hue it possesses, and her dark green, nearly black, eyes. She can speak from both the lure mouth, and her normal mouth. Her tongue extends a foot past her mouth. Jasmedai's body is massive. She is a tangle of flexible, thorny vines, each as thick as a utility pole, beneath a collar of massive pointy leaves. Each leaf is large, with the size maxing out slightly above Jasmedai's flower. All in all, she will possess an area of twenty feet at mass growth. She will be able to unroot herself and move, but she loses half of her growth. A moving Jasmedai will be a maximum area of ten feet. Throughout her life, Jasmedai will produce offshoots. Smaller versions of her main flower. She will self prune them, usually, but they echo her thoughts and words, providing additional feedback. Jasmedai can taste from her vines. The tips are sensitive, like a fly's feet. Able to take a taste in and recognize it. Her lure's hands, too, possess this ability. She uses it to produce nectar, replicating the flavor and scent of whatever she's touched. Her nectar is mildly addictive, though repeated ingestion will increase the addictive qualities. She is, usually, producing nectar. It keeps offshoots from growing, and serve to lure prey in, whatever, or whoever, that may be.

Personality

Jasmedai is selfish and carefree. She is predatory to her core. She enjoys the act of luring, baiting gembound to her. It is a game to her, a game in which she is both master and player, and the prey is the pawn. She finds great humor in it. She does not enjoy the act of killing. Does not revel in it. She is a cat with a mouse. She will avoid killing gembound, if only to draw out her amusement. She considers gembound who don't share her traits beneath her. Prey, or lower. Sources of treasures, at most. However, to gembound she finds kin, she is a loyal ally. One of questionable morals, but good company. She grows bored quickly, and may up and leave out of nowhere. She may be considered a fairweather friend. This is not the case however-- she travels often to sate her curiosity. It is a strange manifestation of Jasmedai's enjoyment of the hunt; her love of collecting. Her curiosity. Bones, stones, scraps of fur or feathers. Even dirt from different caves is considered treasure to her. Jasmedai will amass a collection of items. Trash to other gembound, but to her, treasured items. Neatly stacked and arranged, trophies of past hunts, she will call them. She will be willing to trade her nectar for baubles, should a gembound bring them to her. The first drink is always free, as only then can the games begin.
