Appearance

A classic Tibetan fox, 28 inches long not including the tail at adulthood and approximately 5.5 kilograms. Has quite the handsome face, with big, pale golden eyes, a very shaped facial structure, and fluffy ears. He always looks somewhere on a spectrum ranging from tired, skeptical, to incredibly disappointed in you, but don't be fooled by appearances. He's actually a pretty nice and reasonable person, provided you aren't one of them darn stupid 'kids these days' being rude and causing problems for everyone. His stone is a faceted diamond on his left front paw. The location would remind one of a wedding ring, but that doesn't matter because nobody knows what marriage is.

After surviving the Trial of Hydra, Jim has grown long, sticky toe fingers like a gecko's that allow him to climb and grasp things. He has also acquired Spire Spider venom. Beware the boomer fox.

Personality

The model citizen. Does not do stupid things, like eating the Spire. He is very disappointed in 'kids these days'. Including Gembound older than he is, if they do not act their age. He is just SO fed up with all the cave shenanigans. Get off my lawn with these messy monsters and wars please. Please do NOT try to eat a sparking magic rock. Can we all just be normal gembound for once, living our uneventful, law-abiding lives? Even as a kid, he follows a very stable, normal lifestyle. He will give the side-eye to people doing weird things and try to stay out of it as much as possible.

Unfortunately, he has a good heart, and can't stand to see people getting hurt. He'll keep an eye on you as you go provoke that slavering beast over there, and come drag you out of a sticky situation if he has to, rolling his eyes all the while. You will be forced to listen to a long-winded lecture on why your actions were foolish and wrong, possibly while he is fighting off said slavering beast. He may be far more competent than you expect from first impressions, but that is because of his serious attitude. When he does something, he likes to do it well. He is a ferociously efficient hunter, well adapted to harsh, windy conditions. Don't be fooled by his small size, either. He likes to 'keep a healthy lifestyle' by getting some regular exercise in, physical and magical. You may not see him casting anything other than low-intensity spells in your day-to-day life. That is because low-intensity spells are useful and practical, befitting a model citizen like him. However, that doesn't mean he doesn't know more powerful spells. He just doesn’t use them very often because he’s a law-abiding citizen who does not commit assault, battery, or reckless endangerment on a regular basis! Or ever, really. If he ever attacks someone, he'll follow his strict code of 'reasonable use of force' and 'proportional self-defense' meticulously. Unless you step on his lawn. Then you might get blown up instantly.
