Appearance
You know those wooden mannequin things you can move around? That, but it's a loyal servant of Dontacael. Also it has clothes. And likes chips.

Jinyi stands at 5 feet tall newly hatched and just under 7 feet fully grown, including his halo, and is surprisingly agile. A piece of clearstone is nestled away safely inside his body, taking the shape of a vertebra on his spine. His 'blood' is a combination of clear fluid and a pale webbing-like material, capable of quick regeneration. After bleeding stops, Jinyi is able, over a period of several cycles, to regrow lost body parts. He is able to tolerate extremely cold temperatures, and could even be frozen without dying, sort of like those weird little frogs.

The white, segmented body is very slightly translucent, and if you were to touch it, it might feel like a turtle's shell, but flexible and slightly soft. (For some reason, the halo has a different texture, instead feeling like some kind of hardwood.) The 'skin', really more of the surface of an exoskeleton than a real skin, most likely feels cool to the touch to any warm-blooded Gembound, but it can be warmed up by 'sunning' in the orb-light. Its 'head' is connected to its body with soft, organic hose-like structures. Think the texture of cooked octopus, probably. Chromatophores on its 'face' can shift is appearance into various expressions that often look a little off or computer-generated, but Jinyi may improve at this with time. The brain is located between its shoulders, a little below the place where the hoses connect to its main body. Its mouth is located in the chest area--those 'ribs' are the outlines of its teeth, and looking into its mouth (but why would you do that?) gives one the terrifying vision of a red digestive tract. It is omnivorous, but unable to digest tough foods like bark or grass without the use of Ordered magic.

A perfectly symmetrical piece of Clearstone is located internally, exactly in the middle of its lower back where a vertebra might be in a mammal. There's probably connective tissue and stuff so it's normal and comfortable and not like a piece of rock is bouncing around in its flesh. Please don't ask me complicated science questions.

The bright red and gold robe is a silk-like fiber that Jinyi grows like hair. It can be cut away without pain, but pulling it out would be painful, just like pulling out our hair would be painful. A red hood can be pulled up to shadow its face. The golden "pin" in the middle of its chest feels like smooth gemstone, but can actually open up into the shape of a chrysanthemum flower and close back up. This can be used to look pretty, or to store away something small and keep it hidden...

Jinyi has a beautiful singing voice. Like a majestic church pipe organ. A heavenly sound. Can sing multiple notes at once. It uses a still warm and melodious, but more normal-sounding voice to speak, though it could speak like a pipe organ if it wanted to.

Like any self-respecting Drone, he smells like exactly nothing.
Personality
Enthusiastic/devoted to its job. Curious, innovative. Good-natured and usually kind and helpful; rudeness doesn't sell Dontas, after all. Deeply religious and often tries to educate others on the virtues of Order and Dontacael while feeding them chips. Will NOT shut UP once you get it started.
