Appearance
[ MOTHER’S SPECIAL LITTLE BOY! ]
Juggernaut, like the rest of its litter, were designed for war. This one was to be a guardian, something to take the blows its siblings could not. Each side is a wall of chitin, eyes and serrated edges. It towers at a full 13 feet. The placement of its legs, structure and spacing atypical of a quadruped, ensures a supreme balance. Its mouth, lined with pedipalps, is a maelstrom of teeth and soft tissue, designed to swallow and mince whatever organism unlucky enough to draw close. Stragglers are dragged back towards it by wiry red tentacles, stingers at each tip. The venom, visible inside, is similar to that of the Portuguese man o’ war. All of this is now hidden behind a shifting curtain of pure white feathers, a pair of wings for each crest, leg and set of mandibles, dotted with eyes like pomegranate seeds. Not even this addition could make the drone truly capable of flight, however. Its gemstone is hidden at the centre of its head, inaccessible to Gembound unable to look at it from above (which is most.) This stone has extended to create a brittle crown. Juggernaut now resembles a chandelier that grew legs and a lust for blood.
 Personality
[ MADE FROM NOTHING BUT LOVE AND FUNGUS ]
From the moment of its birth, it has known Mother’s warmth. Like all of the hive, Juggernaut is dedicated to her and her vision of the future, one where not a single pebble is out of line, and all seek and achieve her perfection. It is divine to him. It does not often share this with words. In fact, it speaks little at all. Unless prompted to, Juggernaut prefers to share his feelings first instead of thoughts. A gentle hum of supportive warmth or the occasional disapproving buzz means much more to it than any vibration of old vocal chords. If driven to talk, his tone is blunt and his sentences short. It will answer plainly, and will offer little and ask even less, regardless of the telepathic status of the being he’s talking with. Being as massive as he is, and with little gentle way to interact with the world around him, he will learn quick that he was not meant for some things. If he’s the paint roller, he’s perfectly comfortable with letting the smaller folk be his brush. He can’t arrange every stone in a neat row, and he will come to (sort of) tolerate the little imperfections he sees. They will be eliminated soon, by creatures more equipped than him. It takes its duty seriously as a soldier of Mother’s. It prioritises her will over all - including himself. He values his existence little outside of what he can do for mother, and will gladly die in battle if it meant the hive could continue, if even just for a minute more. History
