Size: 12 ft tall at shoulder, 19 ft long to tail tip

Appearance

This unholy mixture of flesh and keratin is impossible to miss. Twelve feet tall and charcoal grey, from afar it seems a giant sentient storm cloud, leaving awful messes wherever it drifts. What distinguishes it from that is the tan its predominant coloring fades into on extremities. Closer, the variety of monstrous features, leathery insect wings and all, become more apparent.

Claws, teeth, and tentacles are the tools it comes equipped with, and there are many of those. The first can be found in abundance at the ends of their three sets of spindly legs, perfectly curved for deep-cutting slashes. The second are where they’d be expected to be seen: attached to their face. They’re what is typical of a bug’s mouthparts though perhaps toothier than average. Despite that bit of normalcy, they’re also present at the creature’s tail tip with the last listed, providing it with a lovely additional bundle of graspers and gnawers.

These are not the only things it possesses in excess. It has three pairs of eyes to complement its legs, one below its first set and two on its face. Bony plates covering its abdomen hide more of them, only able to be revealed when relaxed. All are reminiscent of a ragdoll's buttons and formed of polished ruby. Considering their unusual nature, one might assume their purpose is merely decorative and that the towering behemoth is incapable of sight, having to feel its way around with its variety of appendages. Such an idea would be swiftly proven wrong by its eerie ability to detect those dwelling in its midst, whether out in the open or hidden beneath a canopy of leaves.

While color, once a concept much enjoyed by the creature, has been robbed from it by the experimentation of a certain Doctor Fun which resulted in these strange eyes, in exchange it has received excellent heat sensing capabilities. So long as a body does not give off a similar temperature to its environment, tracking it down should be relatively easy. This change in perception has, however, lead to changes in how artistic endeavors are approached. Unable to be seen conventionally, gruesome works have become ever more difficult to comprehend in the attempt to create pleasing, lasting images.

Speaking of bones, the plates aren’t the only example of them. Its antennae appear similar to spinal columns. One vertebra is even bloody, in fact the creature’s stone.

Personality

Not being solely a lumbering mass of meat, one might think that this child would have a more refined demeanor than that of its progenitor. In some respects, this is correct: it has more motivation than hunger to feed itself. However, its destructive tendencies are very much comparable. See, instinct has been usurped by twisted beauty standards in its rotting soup of a mind. It delights in what normally would be considered repulsive, finding a masterpiece in filth and scrambled entrails. Time is devoted to prettifying their immediate surroundings, a task that can be inferred as bloody and far from what is ordinarily perceived as tasteful. Fortunately, expressed displeasure at its artistic endeavors does not send it into a feeding frenzy or something equally dreadful. It’ll simply try to uglify the offender, an awkward ordeal that likely has the opposite effect that it intends.

Contained within the distorted insectile form is a capacity for affection like that of a puppy, loving freely to others’ detriment. To gain positive attention is to invite caring harm, as it will tear and rend with buzzing glee, unaware that pain is the antithesis of comfort. A proper bond for the creature is one rife with injury, unfortunately very much intentional. Consorting with it is either bravery, stupidity, or a baffling combination of the two. Regardless, the result is a dangerously playful monstrosity nipping at your heels with mouthparts front or back.
