Appearance

As a hatchling, Krozz is tiny, just under a foot long compared to the 7'11 she will achieve fully grown. Her scales are a pale olive green decorated with black spots that tend to organize themselves into rings around her sides and tail. Her scales are still small, looking more like pebbles than the large plate-like scutes of an older crocodile. She doesn’t look that threatening, being a tiny hatchling, but that will change in time.
As an adult, her spots will fade to faint, barely noticeable markings and her scales will be a darker olive-brown color. Her powerful legs are covered in keeled scales and end in sharp, webbed claws, made for swimming but just as useful on land or in combat. Her eyes are a dark brown, just barely darker from the surrounding scales.
Her gemstone, a cluster of moss agate, sits on her bottom jaw. Two large crystals jut from either side of her mouth, giving the appearance of tusks and keeping her mouth from closing all the way. Several smaller crystals are between these, right behind her teeth and trailing back an inch or so back on the bottom of her mouth. These crystals make eating and talking somewhat uncomfortable, but not too bad.

Personality

Because of the somewhat unfortunate placement of her gemstone, Krozz is a reptile of few words. She prefers listening and watching, and due to her dark coloration and tendency to stay still, she can easily blend into the shadows when she wants. She can be somewhat intimidating due to her near silent nature and tendency to “appear out of nowhere” but that is an unintended, though somewhat welcome consequence. Krozz doesn’t mind the company of others, but she lacks patience for those who end up getting on her nerves, though this can be difficult to do.
Krozz can be rather passive, often only attacking in self-defence or anticipation for the other’s attack. She’ll often attempt a false strike or an display of magic in order to attempt to scare the attacker off, and if that doesn’t work she’ll finally resort to combat. If you somehow get her to talk Krozz can be rather maternal and may even tell a few jokes. Speech is uncomfortable, however, so she enjoys simply enjoying each other's company and silent displays of friendship. Small gifts, often shiny stones or curious knick-knacks, will often be given to those who she cares about. Krozz is quite the collector, having a small but beloved ‘dragons horde’ stashes away somewhere hidden from most creature’s prying eyes.
Krozz, being a crocodile, is the most comfortable close to water, and is most often found near a pond, stream, or puddle. She doesn’t mind walking on land, and has gotten use to it in order to traverse the cave systems, but she will inevitably return to a large body of water if she has no reason to be anywhere else.
