Appearance

This gembound appears to be rather standard for creatures roaming the caves. While she is a canine, she's built more for speed instead of strength or size. Her body is streamlined for it. A large barreled chest carries large lungs that power spindly legs keeping the young dog standing.

Her coat is primarily thin and white, even thinning out to see skin underneath on her chest and legs, while the top of her spine is decorated in three distinct red patches. Between her shoulder blades two cubes of pyrite emerge from the skin.

A thin face takes in the world atop a skinny neck. She's not altogether remarkable in it- perhaps, worth of note, is her half-floppy ears that're often perked up and forward to everything of interest. At the other end is a spindly tail that acts as a rudder and very clear mood check.

Despite being an adult, her voice still contains a rather child-like tone to it with curiosity lacing under her words. Her gait is more elegant than it was when she was young. She still doesn't entirely know what to do with all that leg though, sometimes.

Personality

Laurel, despite her age, is still a child at heart, often bounding about the caves when she has nothing better to do. An innate curiosity drives her- backed by the ability to get wherever she wants, she is absolutely tenacious in figuring things out. Even if she inevitably figures them out in a completely wrong way.

She still loves collecting things- flowers, rocks, bones to chew, grass to eat, anything to keep her mind rolling. Idleness is her true bane. She has to be doing something, and even if she's just waiting around for time to pass she'll be doing anything to keep herself busy. The old bones of Canis are off limits, at least. But fresh ones? They know not the mercy of her teeth.

Laurel is rather personable when boiled down to her basics. She adores other people, loves talking and rambling off anything to other gembounds. She'd make a good postwoman if it weren't for her infernal memory. Sure, she remembers events just fine! But specific words pass right through her. She'll get the vibe of 'em, at least, and she remembers people, but passing mentions might go past her if it isn't drilled into her brain.
