Appearance
Lei's a fairly small and compact thing, and will always be even as she ages. The only angularity to her is in her face; the rest of her in that compact sort of undulation of the shoulders and hips that one would expect in a healthy lioness. She'll be abnormally small and scrawny as a cub, and will grow into a slightly-smaller-than-average adult, but this will not really be a product of health or malnutrition-- just one of those flukes of biology.
Her stone is a Zultanite, fairly large, behind the right ear. Through a naturally occurring feature of nature, it has a hole through the center of it, through which Lei puts feathers, pretty flowers, and other interesting things she finds. The stone itself is clear, without any disfiguring blemishes, and tends more towards the orange-pink spectrum than the green spectrum. Lei's coloring is primarily dark and cool, particularly along her topline. Her fur is dotted with small rosettes, which are very faint as an adult but much clearer as a cub. Her underbelly is dramatically lighter than her topline, shading from a reddish tone to slight hints of a yellow tone to very pale. She also has paleness above her eyes and along her nose.
Personality
Relatively calm, easy-going, accepting, generally friendly, curious, nosey, interested, loves secrets, loves the idea of secrets, charming, affectionate to those she likes, somewhat vain, fairly confident. Occasionally at odds with self with regards to doing silly spontaneous things to enjoy herself (like playing in puddles) and looking dignified as a lioness ought. Polite. Diplomatic. Easily bored. Prone to wandering. Would make a decent spy. Trustworthy. Fairly loyal, if someone is worth being loyal to. Has a fairly high opinion of self, but not really arrogant. Casually elegant. Loves shiny things, fluffy things, etc. Independent, but does enjoy company of people she likes. Picky, with people. Generally nonconfrontational, but not passive-- just doesn't generally think that it's worth getting into things with people. Fairly private. Layered; one must earn her trust to /really/ get to know her. Supportive. Believes very much in people doing what they're good at (and this sometimes makes her look lazy, but she's not really lazy.) Fairly self-discplined in specific fields. Generally a pacifist in ideals, but enjoys a good spar, and will fight in self-defense. An Idealisitc when one has the free time to laze about and think about the world's issues, but a pragmatist when it comes to doing things about them. self-assured.

Bio: I recently graduated with two undergraduate degrees, and I'm seeking graduate education. I live with four cats, and a wonderful spouse, and sometimes excellent friends.
